My family and I stayed a week at the apartment. It was clean amd quiet and close to small supermarkets and a strip of restaurants. The only downfall was that it is on the 4th floor with no elevator. They state they have a washer and dryer which is actually one machine that does both and a cycle is 6 to 7 hours long.
We loved this apartment. The owner was very helpful and the apartment was very well equipped. Renters need to be aware that the apartment is up 5 flights of stairs, but if that isn’t an issue we highly recommend staying here. There was even breakfast provided.
Great apartment, has all the amenities and very spacious and updated. Very comfortable and enjoyed the neighbors, and fairly easy access to the old city. Only caveat - be prepared that the apartment is on top floor and involves lots of steps. If you’re in decent shape, none of this is a problem.
Fun and fabulous. The area was reasonable to navigate ( I’d suggest bus schedule and updated walking map because of tears, more specific info and lights for check in). taxi service was easy. Enjoyed the grocery and dinner options in walking distance. Great balcony view and clean apartment with washer and dryer was especially helpful. Our host was gracious and left us some treats in frig that we’re so appreciated after a long journey. Sweet memories.
The stay was marred because we could not get in touch with landlord who wasn’t available to receive us and sent pics. No #s on apt doors and only a pic sent. All doors are the same and the stairs are confusing. The biggest problem is that there is no mention of the daunting stairs, and my 78 year old mother was with me. 93 stairs. This should be disclosed since it is very material. No elevator.
I will start with the cons and then end with the pros as they heavily were outweighed.Cons-- lots of stairs to the flat but they were even and large. Remindee you are not at the flat ground of the port but halfway up the mountain. There needs to be more seating in the living room area, if the flat sleeps 4, have comfortable seating for 4. I wish the coffee table was not glass and the couch had arms as it felt more of an advertisement than real living. Lots of the deorations were breakable so think abiut that with children. Pros- the view is so worth it. When you climb up the flights and open the door an immediately see the view you are no longer mad about the climb...lol, only 14 to 17 euro taxi ride to either port one way. Very nicely decorated and stocked for visitors. Very reaponsive host. Cold AC, large shower especialy for tall people. Will definetly stay here again and will will review positively on my own social media platforms comments about decor and furniture can easily vary by culture so not saying i am correct with me assessment.

Wonderful apartment!
This apartment is stunning and has an amazing view. We spent 3 nights here after completeing a 10 day bike trip where we stayed at very nice 4 and 5 star hotels - and this apartment compared favorably with the nicest of these hotels. The apartment is tastefully done and immaculately clean - and well equipped. The 4th floor walk up apartment sits on the high ground in Salerno - overlooking the Duomo and old town - so expect to climb some steps. But the view is stunning and the apartment is so nice that my husband quipped ‘ wow let’s just stay here in this wonderful apartment,’. We found the apartment to be well located near to old town and enjoyed trying a number of local restaurants- and we walked to the train station (maybe 20 minute?) and went to Pompeii (which is amazing). The apartment is spacious and quiet and the internet works great! Sara was very helpful throughout our stay. It would be a privilege to stay here again!
