There are many wonderful restaurants locally (5 in Uchaux alone) offering everday French food through to Fine Dining, with a lot more in the surrounding towns and villages. Most french towns will have a weekly market selling a wide variety of merchandise - the nearest one - in Orange - is on Thursday morning.

And no trip to this area would be complete without a visit to one of the numerous local vineyards for a "degustation" (wine tasting) so that you can wile away the hours in the sunshine with a glass of excellent local wine.
