The Space:

Welcome to Beautiful Good Knight's Rest on Amelia Island, your perfect vacation destination!



This charming cottage, located on Ocean Ave., sits right across from the scenic north end dunes of Amelia Island. It's the ideal spot for a serene family getaway. The open floor plan and beach-themed décor create a welcoming atmosphere where your family can unwind and enjoy their time together. Start your day with a morning coffee or end it with an evening dinner on the front patio, accompanied by the soothing sounds of crashing waves and a stunning view of the dunes.



This home comfortably accommodates up to eight guests with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Each bedroom features a Queen-sized bed, while the living room includes two sofa beds for additional sleeping arrangements.



We provide all fresh linens and towels for our guests. You'll also receive a starter pack of essentials, including toilet paper, paper towels, dishwashing soap, dish pods, and laundry detergent. For your beach days, we offer beach chairs, beach towels, and an umbrella.



Pets under 50 pounds are welcome! Please note that aggressive breeds are not allowed, and pets must be crated when guests are away from the rental.

We have a keyless entry system that will allow direct entry into your unit and will not require you to pick up or return keys to our office. Your check-in information will be sent to you on the day of your arrival.



Some furniture may change from photos due to season or weathering. This is especially true of properties close to or on the beach.



Beach accessories availability may vary due to supply and demand, season, and property limitations. Feel free to ask for extras but be aware that they may not be available during the busy season.



All DocuSign documents must be completed and returned before your arrival date. This is to protect you as a guest and the property itself.



This is a pet-friendly unit. We do have a pet fee that will be applied to your account by Amelia Island Vacations. The pet fee is $150 per pet, max number of pets allowed is two unless you have spoken with Amelia Island Vacations, and 50 lbs. is the maximum weight per animal unless approved by Amelia Island Vacations.



There is a credit processing fee of $35 that will be charged if you cancel your booking, regardless of the booking or cancellation date.

A lovely little cottage, very comfortable and beautifully furnished. The kitchen was large, the beds were comfy and the showers were good and hot. We had a great time and enjoyed the proximity to the beach Thanks for a great stay.

Great beach getaway!

We really enjoyed our stay here, the kitchen was well equipped, house was clean, location was great. We were two couples and one single and it was a perfect size. Nice porch out front to relax and easy walk across a very quiet "street" (wouldn't even really call it a street) to the beach. There were people there but not crowded at all.

Quiet Beach Bungalow

Very relaxing and quiet, even on 4th of July weekend! Short walk on the board walk over the dunes made for great spontaneous barefoot trips to the beach. We loved the location.

FAMILY TIME - GREAT TIME

The cottage was perfect for our NC family and for some of our local family to come enjoy the beach and spend time with us celebrating the 4th. From the moment we opened the pretty aqua front door to our last day locking it everything was perfect. Love the cottage feel and beachy appointments throughout. The management team was excellent to work with ..... definitely on our list of places to book again!

Wonderfully relaxing vacation! Shark teeth hunting paradise.

My family of eight thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cottage. The location, just over the sand dune and across the road, was perfect for early morning sunrises for my wife and I and shark teeth hunting for our younger children. The locals are warm and friendly, making the trip feel like our "home" for a week. The place is quaint, with few quirks, but nothing that you remember once you see the beach and spend the days outdoors. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect location

It is true, you are right on the beach, but because of the dune there is no view, but that encouraged us every morning to take the three minute walk to sit on the beach. It’s definitely a quiet section of the beach which we really appreciated.The house is the perfect, retro Beach cottage vibe. It was well appointed and clean. We took advantage of the little grill for a cookout one night and the beach chairs were a plus. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioner rocked. We had one small problem with the dishwasher which the property management team jumped all over. Super responsive! It was a great stay. We will definitely be back!
