Welcome to our Rosie's Retreat!

Nestled on picturesque Amelia Island, Fernandina Beach is a hidden gem that offers an unforgettable coastal escape. With its charming small-town vibe and rich history, here are just a few reasons why you will fall in love with this delightful neighborhood:

Charming beach house with a private access to the beach!
Beautiful views from the second story deck and an ocean view from the downstairs living space. Rosie's Retreat is a second row home, on the beachside of the street.
The home features 4 king bedrooms with a designated bathroom for each bedroom. Two of the bathrooms are ensuite.

I love the location of our Rosie’s Retreat! Our home is within walking distance of two delicious seafood restaurants that often feature live music: Salt Life and Sandbar, located at Main Beach.
The friendly neighborhood is a mix of full-time residents and short term rental homes.
The Atlantic Recreation pool is a short distance from our home. It is family friendly with a nice baby pool and a nearby playground.

The entire home is available for guests with a private patio and a private balcony. The home is located on the beachside of the street. It is a second row home with a lovely view of the ocean.

Your safety matters. This property has exterior cameras with audio at the front, side and rear of the property and will be turned on at all times. But don't worry, it does not access any interior spaces.

We hope you enjoyed the grill during your stay. Please leave it thoroughly clean and ready for the next guests to enjoy. A $150 will apply if the grill requires additional cleaning.
Please rinse and stack the beach chairs.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
We have an 8 person maximum occupancy, including children. Parties, reunions and gatherings of additional guests are strictly prohibited.
We have exterior front and back motion censored cameras with audio.

According to all guests, the home and host were lovely. Had a glitch with the paperwork on the front end and a power outage that took out the only TV and Internet services for entirety of the stay but everyone was appreciative of the efforts of the host to make amends.

This property was very clean, the host was very responsive, and the whole family loved the house. It’s not pristine or ultra modern, but feels like a homey fun beach house. Just the right amount of kitsch and modern. The walk to the beach was very easy, we had a 3 year old with us, and he made the walk easily every time. The view from the 2nd floor master and sitting areas in the master bedroom and main hallway are beautiful.Plenty of everything. Kitchen well stocked, house well stocked, even with things you normally have to buy, soaps, laundry detergent, cooking spices etc… Lots of clean white towels and bedding. The furniture was cute and comfortable, plenty of storage, and 2 sets of washers and dryers! Bathrooms aren’t large but are adequate and 1 bathroom per bedroom was perfect!Outside there is a great patio, included are sand toys for the kids, plenty of beach chairs. There is a great shower and a hose outside to rinse off. Such a blessing with small kids. Inside, plenty of toys and games. These hosts have worked really hard to help make your vacation special! This was probably one of the very best stocked rentals I have ever stayed in.
