Comfortable stay in a great location

We spent four weeks here and managed to hit an unusually cold, wet winter. It even snowed twice! We used the fireplace alot during this weather. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Marcel and Gloria were very responsive to our questions and requests. The town is easy to get to and has two great restaurants. Overall I'd recommend the house to others.

About the host

Hosted by Gloria and Marcel

Host profile image
Gloria is from Tuscany, and the house we share with guests has been in our family for generations—it belonged to my great-grandparents. Hosting here is a way for me to keep their legacy alive and welcome travellers into a place full of stories, tradition, and warmth. We love helping guests discover the real Tuscany, from hidden villages to local food and wine, so they can experience the beauty and authenticity of this region just as my family has for decades.

Why they chose this property

Our village in the Tuscan hills is small, peaceful, and full of charm: exactly the kind of place where you can slow down and truly feel part of local life. Surrounded by rolling countryside, vineyards, and olive groves, it offers beautiful views in every direction. I love the friendly atmosphere and the fact that you can walk to the shops, restaurants and cafés and be greeted like an old friend. It’s also perfectly located for exploring both famous Tuscan cities and hidden villages off the tourist trail.

What makes this property unique

What makes this house unique is the blend of history, comfort, and location. It has been in my family for generations and once belonged to my great-grandparents, but it’s been carefully renovated to meet modern standards. While keeping its traditional Tuscan charm, we’ve added everything you might need—air conditioning, a smart TV, a microwave, a coffee maker, and more. It’s well equipped, full of character, and perfectly positioned in a peaceful village with easy access to both famous Tuscan sights and hidden gems.
