Walking distance to Main Street where most restaurants, pubs and shops are located. 8 mile drive to Olympic Whiteface Mountain. A few blocks to the Olympic arena, speed skating oval as well as to Mirror Lake for both summer and winter enjoyment. Off street parking WIFI cable and washer dryer are included. Very quiet residential neighborhood.A patio/deck with fire pit and outside seating. Pets are ok with advance notice, $50 dog fee will apply “2 night minimum ” Accommodates 8 very comfortably with extra Aero beds.

This is the home to stay in, when visiting the Lake Placid area. Note that I called it "home" because that is how you will feel, once there.It was charmingly warm, spotless, and well equipped with countless amenities, and the owner was attentive to our few questions. It is also minutes (or even a walk) from the main street of the town, one of the treasures of the North Country.I can't say enough good things about our stay, this house, or its host/owner.

We stayed here to watch loved ones compete in Ironman and it was perfect. Truly a “cozy home” and within walking distance to everything. It was sooo much better than a hotel and the owner was very helpful in a number of ways.

Weekend getaway

Such a great property and a great area. We came to Lake Placid to watch our son in a ski race - we were close to Whiteface for the races, yet when we were back at the house we were walking distance to the Lake Placid village which was incredible. Olympic history, restaurants, shops, etc. -- such a fun place to spend a weekend.
