Its location across the street from a beach access path makes it a very short walk to the beach at crescent-shaped Hanalei Bay. This white sand beach invites leisurely strolls along the shore as well as your other favorite ocean and beach activities. Feel free to bring a picnic lunch and just relax to the sights and sounds of the surf.

Virtually every place in Hanalei is an easy walk from Pauole including restaurants, shops and the post office. Enjoy the relaxed ambiance and unhurried pace of Hanalei as you saunter through town. A fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to enjoy meals at home or choose from a nice variety of eateries when dining out.

Great location

My family and I stayed here for a week and we were very pleased. House was clean, well equipped and the location was great walking distance from beach and all the shops/restaurants in hanalei. Will be staying here in the future.

The property had everything we needed and it was close to restaurants and the beach. We walked everywhere which was easy. The house was clean, provided beach chairs, cooler, umbrella & beach towels. We would definitely book this house again!

Charming Hanalei cottage

Great location and lovely cottage on serene grounds— wonderful stay steps to Hanalei bay and beach as well as town. We appreciated the eco conscious living, outdoor shower/ no shoe policy to keep the interior clean and fans/multiple windows to keep cool.

Location Location Location!

This house is the best for Hanalei beach location. You walk across the street to the beach and you are in paradise. A short walk and you are in town. Great place for a family with everything you will need. We can not wait to come back. The perfect place for a relaxing week in paradise.

It is just a short walk down to the beautiful path leading to the beach. I could not stop taking pictures of all the beautiful flowers on that path. We loved the convenience of being to walk back and forth from the house to the beach. The sunsets were so amazing! The walk to town was pretty easy too. The best of both worlds!

Fairly well outfitted but place only had 1.5 bathe which I'd a stretch for our family of 6. We utilized the 2 outdoor showers a lot. Not a major deal in Han as lri but the house doesn't have AC or a dishwasher. Wish they had a few more toys like boogie boards or surfboards. We did enjoy their lawn area and volleyball. Thank you!

This house was smaller - air flow not as good (hot in the day) - but the views were absolutely amazing! Just across the street was a beach access to probably the most beautiful beach we have ever seen. Fun coffee shops for morning, great dinner choices at night. The place was super clean and everything we needed (did I mention the views!). I would stay at both places again and rent from Kauai Vacation Rentals!!

You are getting one of the best prices in Hanalei and there's a reason for it. The house needs work. The Mattresses are new but the rest of the house is not and because the house isn't raised it can get hot because there isn't much breeze.

Roosters crowed all night (as they do in Hanalei), but halfway thru our stay the next door neighbors had someone remove a flock (?) of them nesting trees/brush, which quieted things down (thank you, neighbors!). We've rented in Hanalei many, many times and would return to Pauole.

Don’t Judge by its Cover

Driving up to the property hat has some cute and updated looking properties brings a bit of disappointment when you realize this is the house. But then you realize how close the beach path is, and that you can walk to town where the market and shops are. There are fixture updates, but the kitchen needs to be updated, too. But, again, if they do update, then this property may then be out of our budget. A great place overall.

Backyard was extremely spacious with amazing views that we will never forget. We have already decided that there is nowhere else we would consider staying when traveling to Kauai. The one thing that could be improved is the queen mattress/box spring in the secondary bedroom. Other than that, everything was perfect

Everything one would need for a relaxing & enjoyable stay. Plenty of room (inside & out) for families to have a fantastic vacation. And the best part is how close it is to the beach (the beach path is steps away) & close enough to town, you can leave your car at the house & just walk whenever you want to head into town. Quiet & peaceful (not to mention the roosters & chirping birds to start your day in the traditional Hanalei way;). This our go to place to stay when visiting Kauai!
