Town: The village of Staxton lies near Wolds Way, 7 miles from Scarborough. A pretty street winds its way through the village, offering a butchers and a pub. Ganton Golf Course is 2 miles away, or try clay pigeon shooting at Cotton Dale. Filey and Scarborough, with their beaches, are a short drive away, bird watch at Bempton or visit Malton or York with its Minster and Jorvik Viking Centre.
