My family stayed here for a HS fishing tournament and the location was PERFECT! The home was just as pictured. Communication with our host was great. Absolutely nothing to complain about! We hope to return next year!
Had a great time, our boys had a high school fishing tournament boat ramp less than a mile away and dock was perfect to leave our boat in water over night. Had electric outlet at dock so we could charge boat over night. Had a great time.
We felt safe, had everything we needed. We spent time with our family bunch fishing at the pier and caught the best fish. We had a big breakfast brunch for Father’s Day. The home and entire property was comfortable. We parked 5 vehicles in the space at the time of this rental. The place has so much character that it reminds me of a lake house that has been in the family for generations. The next time we may bring our boat. There is a public boat ramp nearby.
it was quiet and nice right on the lake. the surroundings were amazing. the check out process was quite a lot. i’m used to removing trash. straighten up a little. even take linens off the bed. but we had to stay a couple extra hours because we were required to wash the linens and towels too. it was rainy and the skylights leaked. i understand it is a lake house but it was a bit expensive for what we were expecting. .
The property owner was delightful to work with. We're in our final hours before leaving. It was lovely to be able to walk down to the dock each morning to fish and drink coffee. It's quiet, peaceful, and all 5 of my kids had a blast. There's a great swim spot a mile down the road. The bedroom on the right upstairs didn't have direct TV connected, but we didn't use that room anyway except to change clothes in. Everything we needed was here already except food (which we brought of course). Would definitely stay again, just beware of the steep steps leading upstairs for anyone not able to climb stairs.
It was a very enjoyable time and nice location on the lake! We got a few fish off the dock. There were a few negatives: One of the toilets needed cleaned when we got there. The sprinklers go off randomly but that wasn’t a big deal really. Washing your linens and towels at check out is very inconvenient. There is a bunch of random stuff here and there throughout the cabin. The stairs are steep but doable. We ended up taking the garbage home bc the dump is only open certain days ... BUT overall it was worth the money and was very neat to stay in! Communication with the owner was great! The deck and dock is super nice! It was perfect for what we needed. Extra groceries were in the fridge! The kids had a blast and we will consider staying again! Great value for price!
this property is great for all lake activities. we came to fish and it was a great location! The dock was great for fishing off of at night and a great place to enjoy the sunset! everything was great about this property! cant wait to visit again!
The property is perfectly located in a quiet neighborhood. Checking in was seemless and the house has everything you need. The view is wonderful. Looking forward to the next trip!
The place was perfect for being on toledo bend. It was clean, homey, comfortable. We are already talking about renting this place again!!! Our children had an qbsolute blast. And so did we!!
We had a great time and felt comfortable in the cabin. The stairs were a bit scary and it was a little dusty, but there were extra goodies in the fridge! We ate some sausage! The host was very helpful and accommodating. We would stay here again and hope to have another chance to soon!
We had a great time. The property was just as described. No issues what so ever. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a nice relaxing atmosphere.
This is the one!!!
Great place to stay and total access to the water. Have stayed at this location for the past 3 years in July to celebrate my birthday. Planning another for 2021.
Beautiful weekend get away. We loved it! This camp has everything you need and it’s a cozy homie feeling and that helps out a lot being away from home. Very very clean
