Thank you for your 5 star review of Villa Valeria. Just to be clear for anyone reading this review, the property is 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms. I think what you refer to, is that your party of 7 adults needed and only used 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. It was great to hear how much use you made of the kitchen and the gas BBQ outside. Coming from Texas I would have expected nothing but the best steaks off the grill!! The outside space of Villa Valeria is just stunning considering you are in town and can walk everywhere. We love the pool and the verandas at the front and back of the property. It is great to hear that you enjoyed all our recommendations of wine tour, restaurants, olive oil tour and a private cook for your last night. We hope you return again sometime!

The property is unique with stone staircase, original artwork, commissioned furniture, stained glass windows, secret passages, all of which we are happy to tell our guests about along with the history of those who lived there in the past. Our guests rave about the grounds, garden, huge pool and the ability to walk everywhere in town. In fact, some guest don't even hire a car, we arrange transfers for them. Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at Villa Valeria It was unfortunate you were unwell during your time there and didn't really make good use of the pool. As you say, the location is so near to town that you ate out nearly every night and enjoyed the short walk into town. The gardens, pool are surrounding area are magnificent. Internally the 5 bedrooms are well equipped with air-con, the kitchen has all mod-cons and the lounging areas truly unique and in keeping with the history of the villa. We hope you return to Puglia again sometime.

Thank you for your review, we too love the castle-like feel of the property. All our guests rave about how big the pool is and make good use of the gas BBQ. The furniture compliments the building with its stunning stained glass window in the main sitting room, antique panelling, chandeliers etc. It adds to the character of the property. Our past guests have commented how Villa Valeria is the only property in Puglia of this quality, truly in town and within walking distance of everything, with a fabulous pool and gardens. Being in town there is bound to be some noise at times compared to being out in the countryside. We think this is well worth while the compromise to be able to walk down the driveway and out into the town to explore on foot. There lots of places to explore in the well established gardens of the property and we particularly like sitting on the veranda over looking the pool. It was a pleasure to have you come and stay with us.

What sets Villa Valeria apart from many other villas in Puglia is the beautiful gardens, stunning pool and the ability to walk down the drive and out into the town of Martina Franca. Dinner out every night without having to worry who will drive. Or if you have teenagers, they can go out without having to be dropped off and picked up all the time. Leaving other members of the family to just relax by the pool, sit in the shade or wander the grounds!
