About the host
Hosted by Carly & Ewan Mitchell
Having fallen in love with the house and its location in 2016, we spent the next 18 months renovating the house to a high standard before opening up as a business in 2018. We have learnt lots about the area and we will happily share all of our hints, tips and recommendations with you, in the hope you come to love the area as much as we do!
Why they chose this property
Maison La Criere is set in a beautiful rural location and is peaceful and tranquil. The house and grounds provide a proper escape from it all. The house is close to many pretty local towns, markets, shops and local eateries for relaxed trips out. There are so many activities and attractions within easy reach of the house and there is something nearby to appeal to everyone. There are also some lovely walks through the Calvados countryside starting on the doorstep! There is so much nearby that you could easily plan a week full of excursions or you can be spontaneous with your days and do as much or as little as you wish.
What makes this property unique
This is a large house with 5 big bedrooms and can accommodate 14 people. Maison La Criere is perfect for families, several families sharing and groups of friends. The property and location are suitable for all ages. Well behaved dogs are also welcome here and we can make vets appointments for any pet passport related issues. Good quality bed linen and towels are all included in the price as is cleaning at the end of your stay. Wi-fi is also available throughout. The location of this property makes it stand out from the crowd. Rural and peaceful and ideal for those wishing to get away from it all yet close to the local town for eating and shopping and within easy reach of lots of activities and attractions. There really is something for everyone.
