As always Trinity Cottage met all our needs. Our 8th time of booking and definitely feels like home from home. It’s location is perfect, it’s warm , clean and just what we want
Lovely cottage, with all amenities, just a few metres from the quay in Appledore. Appledore is a very lively harbour, with something to please all ages.
Had a great short break, the cottage is a home from home and is in a fabulous location - it’s less than a minute walk the quay and a variety of cafes, pubs and takeaways.
We’d definitely stay here again if we’re in Appledore.

Thank you so much for your review Scott. Trinity Cottage will always welcome you back! 😀
Location was excellent, property was comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. Comfy beds and nice fresh bedding. Smart TV, lots of books and jigsaws plus a couple of games. Kitchen was very well equipped and the little courtard was a sun trap.
The host made iyr stay easy by issuing comprehensive instructions and tips beforehandThe cottage is comfortably furnished and equipped with everything we needed. The location is superb. One of the bedrooms has a sea view. The excellent Champ pub and Seagate hotel are just a minute's stroll away, as is the carpark. We especially enjoyed the cosy atmosphere generated by the woodburner.
Trinity cottage is in a great location on the harbour side at Appledore, with a great choice of eateries, and a well stocked deli. The cottage had everything we needed for the week. Would use again.
A lovely week in appledore. Trinity cottage was a great base in the town with everything in close proximity. Very relaxing and a beautiful view each morning of the quay across to Instow from the main bedroom made it even better. The back yard was brilliant with such excellent weather.
Everything just as great as last time I stayed earlier in the year. Sadly the little lane described as an area to drop things off, was again blocked with a car/or van, during the stay (same on the first visit) All great. - so you know there was something one evening A big bang on the front door. (Pub closing time) - boot marks on door after. Not a problem but think you should know in case it’s a regular thing. Or if you hear it again

Thank you for coming back to Trinity Cottage. I’m sorry about the drop off area, I did say it’s when it’s available but I’ll check next time and ask around if people are ‘hogging’ it. In our street we like to keep it clear in case of emergency services etc needing it.

Thank you Veronique. You are always welcome back 😊
Such a lovely cottage and a lovely area to stay.
Would massively recommend staying as it was exactly as described and very cozy and well kept!
Perfect for a great get away from normal life!
Very happy with our stay in this lovely cottage. Cosy evenings spent in front the woodburner. Loads of places to explore locally. Kitchen really well equipped.
A lovely well equipped cottage, well furnished and very comfortable.
Upstairs bedroom window overlooked the quay and river which was delightful. A good base for exploring North Devon.
Felt it was over priced. No information leaflets about the area including tel. Numbers for local vets etc. review of beaches, pubs , cafes etc and things of interest in the area.
No hairdryer!!
Having said we did settle in and enjoyed the cottage with added bonus of the view from the bedroom.
Difficult for dog owners as no nearby grassy areas for early morning and late walks as only the courtyard.
Also had to pay £16 for parking.
Perfect central location. Well appointed cottage with suntrap courtyard. Communication with Liza was very good. A very happy week spent at Trinity Cottage and we would not hesitate to rebook.
We stayed at Liza's lovely cottage for a few days and it was a really nice quaint experience in Appledore.
It was exceptionally well furnished and decorated, with kitchen facilities being home from home, also the bathroom and shower was lovely (although downstairs).
Appledore itself is a lovely little town, it has plenty of places to eat with a cafe literally next door and chippy 1 minute walk down the corridor of cottages, or you have westward ho 10 minutes away for a few more places to eat.
Our only issue was the Noise was quite high from people jumping into the river from the side and couldn't leave the windows open for the baby to sleep, however that said we just got unlucky with this based on tides being late evening towards sunset. (Not sure they are that stupid to jump in with no water and the tide all out :)
