A very steep and narrow road up to the house. The flat is well equipped and it was clean and neat. Best of all is the pool, a must in a warm sicilian summer. The place is a quiet oasis.

This was the worst holiday I have ever had. We booked for 12 days with my best friend and girlfriend, but I left after only 4 days. From the start it was a disappointment. We thought we had a private villa/apartment, but instead the owner and her entire family live above you, constantly watching and interfering. There’s only one weak air conditioner in the living room, and if you leave it on too long at night, Angela simply cuts off the power, even when it’s 30C.Privacy is nonexistent. Most of the positive reviews are written by her own family. The barbecue is tiny, rusty, with peeling paint and a filthy grill. Swimming feels uncomfortable as the family sits on the balcony staring at you or suddenly comes home. She speaks no English, so communication is nearly impossible. At first she acts kind, but the moment you complain, her attitude changes completely.To make matters worse, pets are “not allowed,” yet she has a dog that barks every morning at 7 a.m. and even poops right at your door — my girlfriend stepped in it. Overall, this place is a nightmare. I would never recommend it to anyone.

Wir waren begeistert von der Aussicht. Vom Haus hat man direkten Blick auf den Etna und zur anderen Seite befindet sich das Meer.Wir haben gerne Zeit draußen auf der Terasse oder im Pool verbracht. Die Gastgeber wohnen in den Etagen über der Ferienwohnung und sind herzliche und sehr angenehme Menschen. Der Garten stand uns alleine zur Verfügung und sie lassen den Gästen Freiraum.Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen wollen.

Logement de campagne

Nous avons passé un bon séjour dans ce logement, qui est très propre, bien aménagé, il y a tout le nécessaire y compris la climatisation, que nous n'avons même pas eu besoin d'utiliser car il fait frais dans le logement. Je dirais qu'il manque juste un micro ondes. Il y a deux salles de bain, 2 WC et deux grandes chambres, c'était parfait pour notre famille avec deux enfants. À l'extérieur, nous avions accès à la piscine rien que pour nous avec des transats mis à disposition, une table de jardin ainsi qu'un barbecue et une machine à laver. Et surtout la vue sur l'Etna ! Le seul aspect négatif pour nous a été que le logement est très éloigné de tout, il se trouve à environ un quart d'heure en voiture du premier village, avec des routes très escarpées. Dans l'ensemble, c'est un très bon logement avec une hôte très accueillante et gentille.

Die Ferienwohnung liegt in herrlicher Umgebung am Fuß des Ätna. Sie ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet, geräumig und sauber, ausgestattet mit zwei Schlafzimmern und zwei Bädern, mit einem Freisitz in einem bestens gepflegten Palmengarten und einem Pool mit Aussicht auf den Vulkan. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, stets um das Wohl der Gäste besorgt. Diese Freundlichkeit ist ein großer Pluspunkt. Die Lage eignet sich für Ausflüge an der Ostküste Siziliens und ins Innere der Insel bestens. Die Zufahrt ist zunächst etwas schwierig, diese Schwierigkeit gilt freilich nur für das erste Ankommen. Insgesamt waren wir hochzufrieden und können die Unterkunft unbedingt empfehlen. Den Vermietern auch von Herzen Dank!

Super Aufenthalt. Sehr netter, herzlicher und hilfbereiter Gastgeber. Ich hatte eine Panne mit dem Auto und die Familie ist gleich mit mir zur Werkstatt. Da ich kein italienisch spreche hat sie alles super geregelt.Die Anfahrt ist etwas schwierig zu finden und zu befahren. Für normale Fahrer jedoch zu bewältigen. Das Objekt ist wunderbar gestaltet mit sauberen Pool und schönen Blick zum Ätna. In unmittelbarer Nähe, zum hinlaufen, ein super Restaurant. Giarre ist eine tolle Stadt mit vielen Boutiquen und Restaurants. Mit Googleübersetzer klappt alles. Ich würde wieder hinfahren. Fam. Barth

Nous sommes tres bien acceuillis par l hotesse ainsi que par l ensemble de la famille.prends soin et attentive tout en restant discrete aupres de ses hotes. Schöne Wohnung in toller Gegend

Die Wohnung liegt fern ab von jeglichen Tourigebieten und ist mit allem ausgestattet. Mittig zwischen Catania und Taormina wohnt man zentral, um überall schnell hin zu kommen. Auch wenn die Vermieter mit im Haus wohnen, lassen sie einem Freiraum, waren nicht aufdringlich und waren sehr angenehme Gastgeber. Sie waren sehr gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Kommunikation verlief dank Smartphone auch problemlos, da die beiden nur italienisch sprechen.
