About this property

Our Place At St. Simons Island

Welcome to Our Place. A vacation paradise surrounded by Live Oaks that puts you right into relaxation mode.
Our Place is a home away from home 2 bedroom, 1-1/2 bath condo. It sleeps 6 with a king bed in the master, two double beds in the guest room and a queen sleeper sofa in the family room. Both bedrooms have large closets and TVs. Beach themed decorations along with ceiling fans in every room.
The open kitchen is graciously stocked with cookware, utensils, a full size refrigerator and oven with microwave, along with a dining table that seats six.
A 50 inch flat screen TV with DVD is in family room with a sleeper sofa, love seat, and chair with ottoman.
Back patio has a gas grill with dining table that overlooks a playing field and swimming pool. The front porch has relaxing seating for four as well.

The pool area (seasonal) has lots of seating along with Ping Pong, darts, corn hole and a coin operated laundry.

Our Place comes with a reserved parking space right outside the front door and is less than a mile from the beach with two huge free public parking areas located on Ocean Blvd. (East Beach Coast Guard Station and Massengale Park) both furnished with clean bathrooms and showers.

The Housekeeping Fee includes a starter of paper towels, toilet tissue, dishwasher tablets, dishwashing liquid, hand soap, bath soap, and a trash bag.

Monthly renters should contact the property owner for rates.

Great place, the pool was steps from the patio and we had everything we needed, the gas grill on the patio was a great plus. We had a minor issue with the AC and the owner got someone out to repair promptly.

We had a great stay at Carols Place. Location is central to everything on island. Kitchen was well equipped. As a note, there was no toilet paper upon arrival which we found odd. Overall we’d stay again

Relaxing Get Away

Our family stays on SSI every Fourth of July. We love staying at the town homes when we are there. This one is so neat and clean that we try to book it every time we are there. It fits our family.

My stay was a dream come true- very light, bright comfortable accomodations. I was able to walk the beach every morning that I was there due to the proximity of the beach. Communication from Carol Ann about the facilities was on point and timely and Carol Ann was very responsive!! Loved staying there

Nice, Clean, Great price!

We had a great weekend at this property. The kuchen was well stocked. The beds were comfortable, and the location is close to the Island pier .Not on the beach but the price to stay here was very reasonable, and the beach is maybe 4 or 5 minutes max away. I would recommend this property to family or friends.

The property is in a great location. The grounds are immaculately maintained. Overall a good experience.

Outstanding property, convenient to everything on SSI

Carol Ann's condo is lovely--just the right size for our family of three--and it is located conveniently to East Beach and to the village, either a 3-5 minute drive or 15-20-minute walk. Plus, the pool is only steps from the back door. You'll need a roll of quarters ($10's worth) to do two loads of laundry in the washer and dryer in the pool house, but that was the only inconvenience in an otherwise perfect vacation spot. We'll definitely book here again!

Very nice accommodations. We had a glitch getting in the door the first time but that was quickly resolved. Also the TV stopped lost signal and the last two days we had no TV---but who watches TV on vacation? :)

Three adult women shared one full bath. The listing on VRBO stated two baths. The second bath was a half bath downstairs. We were disappointed and cramped with the bathroom situation.

I am so sorry that you didn’t see the property description on VRBO. It clearly states 1 and 1/2 bathrooms. Also in the room description it states that one bathroom has a shower and a toilet and one only has a toilet. There is no where else to state this information. I have always been totally honest about what our condo offers. Hopefully you loved the Island.:)

★★★★★ Perfect QUIET Refreshing Getaway!

We came here for a quiet, refreshing, relaxing long weekend and got EXACTLY what we needed! "Our Place" is extremely clean, nicely furnished, and well-appointed with everything we needed and more. She has PLENTY of clean, quality linens - towels, even piles of beach towels, extra sheets, blankets. From the cleanliness of every square inch and her attention to detail, I felt assured that covid-19 was not a concern here. The grounds are beautiful, such a nice green space behind the back patio, very well landscaped. My favorite are the big trees with moss, so beautiful and relaxing. There is plenty of green space for children to run around and the pool is big with a nice area around it. Carol was very quick to respond to all of my questions and very helpful in giving recommendations for restaurants with outdoor seating. We would definitely love to return and stay longer!!

Relaxing Winter Get Away

Stayed two weeks in December. The townhouse was very clean, cozy, and comfortable. Kitchen was well appointed with everything needed. Outdoor space (outside back door) was very nice, as well, with the lawn, live oaks and Spanish moss. Great location, near beach and restaurants. Owners were very easy to communicate with, for any questions or information. Great vacation!

Great location and a fun trip!

This place is everything you can expect from a rental. However, the cleaning crew should have paid more attention to the grill as it was disgusting, we couldn't even clean it ourselves. Everything else including the location, and overall was good. Strong wifi, plenty of towels, dishes for our party and room in closets for families with kids, something you can't find in every rental!!
