Appreciate The All Season Joys Of Northern Michigan With Family And Friends

EBT (STR2019 - 0045) Enjoy a multi-family, extended family, or reunion of friends in our large well appointed home. This house can accommodate 10 guests in beds on two levels. The ground level has 3 bedrooms, living room w/gas fireplace, 2 bathrooms (Master with Jacuzzi tub), dining room (can seat 8), laundry and kitchen. The lower level walkout has 2 bedrooms, large family room with game area and a 3/4 bath. The front deck has chairs for a quiet conversation with friends. It has a large deck that looks over the water with a BBQ grill and patio set to seat 6. The kitchen is stocked with all the dishes, pans and utensils you will need to feed the crew - including a dishwasher. There is a bonfire pit below the deck and spectacular views of the placid unspoiled shores across the lake.

Swim or fish from the dock. The two kayaks, row boat with electric motor or oars and a canoe are yours to explore the winding watercourses of Rennie Lake. Life preservers are required by law and available, or bring your own. Please note: Rennie Lake is an all-sports lake, but offers no public access from which to launch a boat.

Beautiful location!

Our family had a wonderful stay! The view from the deck is beautiful! It was so nice to have kayaks to use. The owners were easy to communicate with and the house has everything you could need for a relaxing vacation!

Overall the house was a nice experience. We didn't really get to do much there due to being very busy with wedding things. (Basically we were just able to sleep there.) Lorena was great to work with.

The lake house worked out perfectly for our weekend girls trip. Plenty of room for everyone. The house was stocked with everything we needed and then some. The kayaks were also nice to be able to use, as well as the fire pit. We are already planning our next trip there. Location was perfect for Torch Lake and Traverse City outings.

The check-in process was easy. We received a code for access the morning of the day we arrived. The kitchen was well stocked. We had a small family reunion and the house, deck and grounds were plenty big enough. A couple small, trivial things: We needed to get some batteries for the downstairs remotes, the fishing gear could have been better and the deck, as happens with wooden decks, had some nails sticking up (we hammered them down). If coming to the TC area, we would consider staying here again.

Well laid-out with enough bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate our family with 6 adults and 3 grandkids. Very clean and well- stocked. Lake is nice for kayaking. Our 4th year. Family had a great time. .

Making memories on Rennie Lake

What a special place for a celebration of two 40th birthdays among friends! We loved Lorena's beautiful home so much we barely left! Rennie Lake is gorgeous and we enjoyed meals on the deck, swimming, hanging around the fire pit, stargazing, and listening to loon calls around sunset. We'd love to return!

We bought this house as an investment in our future, and now live here in the north full time. The National Cherry Festival takes place during the end of June /early July. Come explore!

What makes this property unique

The fact that this home is on a quiet branch of Rennie Lake connected to but separated from the busier, more populated areas is a plus. The location is steps away from hiking trails on state land and it is a wonderful place to "get away from it all" in every season. The proximity to undeveloped land makes your view of the lake spectacular - no other cottages or homes can be seen. Even your neighbors to the left and right have maintained a privacy screen of native trees and plants. The house is big enough to accommodate your extended family, a place for kids down, adults up, or space to separate families with shared space in the living areas upstairs. In addition, it is close enough to make Traverse City easily accessible. You will love the chance to explore the area again and again.
