Stopover 2, in the heart of the Vendée grove

in the heart of the Vendée grove, this typical Vendée house will offer you a country atmosphere conducive to relaxation combining calm, charm, comfort and conviviality. An ideal place to discover and discover the different tourist and heritage aspects of Vendée ... I will be happy to guide you to some unusual places between farmland and ocean.

This renovated house consists of a living room of 25 m2 with a seating area overlooking a private terrace, a kitchen and a dining room. In the extension, you have a room of 20 m2 with an adjoining bathroom with a walk-in shower. You will be surprised to discover in the bathroom an old glass well over 200 years old, still in use. Note that the chaise lounge can serve as extra bed (90 x 200) for an additional person, sheets not provided.

You can of course have the garden at your leisure as well as the meadow where you can mix chickens and sheep. BBQ facilities and sun loungers are available.
Note that on the same site, an independent housing with a capacity of 6 people is also for rent.

Good experience

Proprietor gave us fresh vegetables from the garden. Clean but could do with a bit of an update. Nice area to travel in car to scenic places. Quiet location.

Some TLC would have made all the difference

First impressions not good. Gate to property covered in mould and gate held together with string! Grass not cut covered with weeds and patio not nice. Inside bed OK but wondered why mattress cover turned over to rubber side up. Filthy! covered with old urine stains , NOT NICE REMOVED FROM BED!!!! Overall place was not cared for and hot water questionable!! Overall the worst gite we have stayed in and we will never come back and feel sorry for those who have paid good money for this horrible accommodation.

Nous sommes allés à l'île de Noirmoutier, au Puy du Fou, au marais poitevin et à l'océan. Cette petite maison était un petit coin de paradis. Elle est agréable et permet de se ressourcer. Le propriétaire était très accueillant !

Une semaine très reposante avec notre chienne, dans un endroit charmant entouré de verdure, et un propriétaire tres gentil et de bon conseil. Nous avons visité le coin, avec des randonnées pédestres très agreables au bord de l'eau, dégusté du bon vin et de bons produits du jardins. Nous le conseillons vivement.

Accueil agréable. Nous avons passé un bon séjour et merci à notre hôte pour l'apéritif convivial et les légumes du jardin. Notre petit chien a pu se balader dans la propriété, celle-ci étant bien clôturée. À refaire et je recommande.

Beautiful peaceful spot

Jean Philippe was a friendly good host and the property was as described in a lovely peaceful setting. The only thing I’d say was missing was a hairdryer but it wasn’t important and arriving on a Monday, a lot of places to eat are shut but we really enjoyed our stay

Maison a la campagne pour des vacances reposantes
