We loved our stay and will come again. Woke up to beautiful sunrises every day for a week. It was hard to leave. Peaceful and spacious. Easy travel for day trips in all directions. Host was fabulous and thoughtful. You won't be disappointed if you stay here.

Fabulous beach home. First time staying on sunrise side of Black Lake. Host has went above and beyond to decorate and provide everything you need for your stay. Lots of firewood was also available. Home was very clean and all beds were very comfortable. I can’t say enough about this place. Dog friendly is always a plus. I will be staying here again in the near future.

We absolutely love this Lake House. It's cozy yet spacious, very clean & welcoming. Location is perfect. Easy to find and lots to do around the area. Plenty of boat launches to choose from and strong sturdy dock in front of the cabin..... Great Place to Stay!

We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. Location made an easy drive to Mackinac Island for the day. We also enjoyed the Michigan Dark Sky Park for the first time. Brenda and Gil were great to work with.

Beautiful and Peaceful

Our stay at Black Lake was wonderful. The location is great, close to activities, but far enough removed to feel the quietness and nature. We enjoyed several meals grilling on the patio and sitting by the dock enjoying the beautiful sights and sounds. The house itself is cozy and provided the perfect oasis for our family. We’d love to visit again.

Lake cottage

Gil and Brenda were very thoughtful with adding extra touches to the cottage that made it feel like a home away from home. The are is very peaceful and quiet. It was a quintessential up north getaway.

Great location

Great location on a quite lake. A great house to relax or enjoy all the amenities the lake has to offer. Enjoyed s’mores by the camp fire and the peace and quiet of the area. Well appointed kitchen with everything you could need. Great place for a weekend stay or an extended trip. We loved it.

Black Lake vacation

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Home was clean and decorated nicely. Swimming is great as there is a sandy bottom and it’s shallow for quite a ways out, so excellent if you have dogs or children. Great communication with the hosts. I would recommend this property if you are looking for a place on Black Lake.
