Outstanding

Comfortable, well-equipped gite, peaceful yet ideally located for the town of Uzès and local shops. The pool is fabulous and quite private, and the owners are lovely: very low-profile but available if you need them. Thoroughly recommended!

Charming owners, chic apartment, all exactly as we'd hoped: quiet, attractive and the lovely Uzes easily accessed by car or a pretty 30 minute forest walk.

Wonderful private apartment

This beautiful apartment with a pool was a delight. Our hosts Etienne and Marie were most welcoming but also afforded us complete privacy. The apartment was beautifully designed and decorated and very well equipped. While it is possible to hike into Uzes on a lovely trail, the property is too far from the village itself to casually stroll into town; the 10 minute drive into town was fine. The swimming pool is absolutely wonderful.

Lovely place to base yourself for Provence

We had a week at the apartment and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The only issue was mosquito's, which tool a liking to pale Scottish flesh, but we bought plenty of repellent from the pharmacy which seemed to keep them at bay. The accommodation was lovely though, very comfortable and we appreciated the books and artwork on the walls. As a location, Uzes is ideal for exploring the region. We visited the Carmargue, Arles, Avignon and spent a couple of days just enjoying Uzes itself. Pont du Guard is 5 minutes away by car and amazing to see. Coming back to the pool was delightful as a way to cool of from the hot days. It was up to 39 degrees during the week we were there so a refreshing dip was most welcome. Ettienne and Marie were lovely.

The property was in a fantastic location, close to supermarkets and a boulangerie. Only a short drive into Uzes and Pont Du Gard and giving easy access to other major destinations. We loved the privacy and the quiet of the property and garden. Having a covered carport and secure entry gate was reassuring.The garden and pool area were a delight in the extreme July heat. Having clean linen provided for the second week, was a nice touch. The living room was very comfortable with a large high quality flat screen t.v., allowing us to log into Netflix, Prime etc.Etienne and Marie were the perfect hosts, being close by for anything we needed, but offering us complete privacy. Our only recommendation would be for air conditioning, particularly in the bedroom, as it was uncomfortably hot, even with an overhead fan. A mosquito net on the bathroom window and perhaps bedroom doors, would have helped lower the temperature at night. We had an extremely enjoyable stay and would highly recommend this property for your holiday.

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus in gepflegter Gartenanlage. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern (wohnen direkt nebenan, wahren aber die Privatsphäre der Urlauber) war problemlos. Wünschenswert wären Moskitonetze an den Fenstern und den Türen zum Garten der Unterkunft - denn bei uns waren die Moskitos sehr aktiv und aggressiv - und zwar den ganzen Tag über.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans le logement d'Etienne et Marie qui sont des hôtes extrêmement gentils et attentionnés. Nous avons bien profité du jardin et de la piscine. Un véritable petit coin de paradis.

appartement bien entretenu,fonctionnel et au calme.propriétaires sympathiques et très discrets.On a apprécié la piscine qui était a disposition rien que pour nous.On regrettele manque de climatisation fort utile en période de canicule. on recommande cette location.

Parfait !! Un petit havre de paix à deux pas d’Uzès, accessible par une jolie balade en pleine nature.Idéal pour se reposer et découvrir la région.La piscine au cœur du jardin est un vrai plus. Accueil aux petits soins.Un lieu où l'on a envie de revenir.

Gemütliches, sauberes und komfortables Appartement mit einem wunderschönen, weitläufigen mediterranen Garten. Die Unterkunft liegt in einer ruhigen, kleinen Straße. Nach 10 Minuten Fußweg erreicht man Geschäfte für den täglichen Bedarf. Gleichzeitig gibt es zahlreiche ausgeschilderte Wanderwege in direkter Nähe. So ist auch die Altstadt von Uzès über verschiedene Wanderwege gut in einer halben Stunde zu erreichen.Un grand merci à Marie et Etienne pour votre hospitalité!Wir werden nächstes Jahr wiederkommen.

Sehr nette Gastgeber (wohnen im vorderen Teil des Hauses, sind immer erreichbar, wenn man es bräuchte, aber ansonsten ist man für sich) mit einer hübschen schattigen Wohnung im hinteren Teil und einem wunderbaren, sehr gepflegten Pool (der wirklich nur von den Gästen genutzt wird). Auf dem Grundstück ist man völlig ungestört. Es ist alles da, was man braucht...Uzès ist ein bildhübsche Städtchen, die Umgebung auch zum Wandern herrlich...Vielen Dank für einen schönen Aufenthalt!

Charmante location de vacances avec tout ce qu'il faut sur place. Grand jardin, environnement très calme. Point de départ idéal pour visiter la région. La piscine est parfaite, un atout considérable. On y revient avec grand plaisir.

Erg fijn verblijf

Wij vonden het een heerlijke plek waar we goed tot rust zijn gekomen. Zwembad was heerlijk, huis was goed en schoon. Wij hebben wel een minpunt: namelijk het keukengerei is erg karig. Slechte, bekraste pannen waarin alles aankoekt. Wij hebben dit opgelost door zelf een nieuwe pan te kopen bij de supermarkt.

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus mit Pool nahe Uzes

Wir verbrachten eine wunderschöne Woche im September in dem gemütlichen Ferienhaus mit großem Pool. Tolle Lage des Hauses; Uzes ist über einen traumhaften Waldweg zu Fuß erreichbar. Herzliche Gastgeber. Perfekt!

Der Pool ist wirklich traumhaft und die Lage ist super zum entspannen. Wenn man Lust hat, ist man aber auch schnell in den umliegenden Städten. Größe ist super für 2 Personen.

Vacances paradisiaques

Vraiment un bonne accueil, des hôtes tres sympathiques, tres tres propres ,la piscine un regal ,une végétations luxuriante,encore plus beau que sur lannonce, il ne manque rien ,tellement ravi que jai deja reserver pour l'année suivante, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermer
