Bishops Bay Cottage is nestled between woodlands, wildlife, mountains and the shores of Loch Leven, enjoying a special place in her surroundings and offers an ideal base, discovering Glencoe, Ben Nevis, the Mamores and many other adventures. Bishops Bay Cottage is a new built set on 2 acres of privately owned land. It stretches from the top of the B863 down to the shores of Loch Leven.

Our playground boasts of breathtaking sceneries and the legendary history of Glencoe and Loch Leven. We are also situated in LOCHABER, the Outdoor Capital of the UK, presenting an array of mountains, activities and adventurous to explore. Ben Nevis, Pap of Glencoe and the Munroes are some of the landmarks surrounding us.

Highlands trip

We loved our stay at Bishops Bay Cottage. The cottage had absolutely everything we could have wanted/needed (including a fab tea pot). Location was beautiful and also convenient to get to different trails and sites. We had dinner at the Ballachulish Hotel on our last night and it was delicious. Highly recommend it. We cannot wait to visit the cottage again!

Delightful, beautiful, modern, comfortable loch side house.

We stayed at Bishops Bay with our 18 year old son whilst attending the Scottish 6 day orienteering event. This house was the perfect retreat for rest days and evenings. The bedrooms and bathrooms are like a very nice hotel room, the living space has incredible views, the kitchen and utility has everything you would ever need in a very well thought out and tasteful design. The garden is incredible with foot access to a beautiful beach and loch for swimming in. In addition to the orienteering, we cycled to see Castle Stalker, did part of the west highland way snd went to the silver sands at morar. Wonderful. Thank you so much for a lovely week - will will certainly visit again if you this way.
