4 nights in old Aljezur

Quite complicated in terms of parking, and access by car is limited. Amenity listing not accurate at time of reservation, but owner indicated corrections have since been made.

From the moment I requested to book this beautiful house for my husband and myself the communication with João was amazing. He is kind, helpful and always answered swiftly. We were so happy to stay in this little paradise in Aljezur. The house is cozy and was spotless when we arrived. João’s relative Susana was there to check us in and everything went perfect. A welcome basket with drinks was left for us which as incredibly kind. The view from the house is stunning - you have a view over all of Aljezur including the castle and you can see the sun rising over the mountains in the morning.I loved to sit outside with a cup of tea watching the sun rise. For the 2 of us the house was perfect and it had everything we need, including a fully equipped kitchen ánd an private parking spot. You do need to be somewhat of a skilled driver as the lanes are narrow and cars are parked everywhere cause there are very few parking spots. It was an art to drive here and we loved it.The house is very centrally located yet so quiet and close to everything. Including the most beautiful rugged beaches.Next time we will come we will stay here again.Thank you,Joyce & Matthijs

We had a great holiday. The property and also the owner (Joao) were great.

Aljezur was lovely and the location of the property was excellent and overlooked the town. The property was cleaned each week and was spotless. The dedicated parking space for the car was much appreciated too.

Local Acolhedor

An accomodation to be remembered

From our first contact, to the handover of the accommodation on the last day, we were perfectly taken care of. João even provided us with tips in the area and was always available. The accommodation corresponded to the pictures and had everything you need: coffee maker, dishwasher, comfortable beds and a great view over the beautiful countryside. Anytime gladly again :)

Bernard

Really nice apartment

We, Thomas and Karina, really enjoyed our stay in João’s apartment. We have been there for two weeks with our baby and a friend came to visit us for a week. The apartment was perfect for that - neither too small nor too big. The apartment is really good equipped and has everything you need for living and cooking. We absolutely loved the view to the castle and down to the city. João and Susana we’re absolutely helpful, organised a highchair for our baby and even waited till 9pm to welcome us on our arrival. When we will return to Aljezur one day we would love to stay there again.

Lovely place, lovely people, in a quiet town on the hill

We had a great time in this apartment. Ate outside twice a day every day; enjoyed the newly updated kitchen equipment, and were surprised at how well the internet worked (most of the time). Host and host's aunt were incredibly helpful, including driving us to scooter rental, and quick to come by regarding any questions or issue. Highly recommended.
