Beautiful, well equipped and pretty large property (for our family of 4) in a lovely area near to Chantal. Plenty to do in the area and the owner (who lives very nearby) helpfully provides passes which allow free access to many of the local chairlifts in addition to other amenities.

Had the most perfect September fortnight in chalet Arthur. The chalet itself was just perfect- cosy, comfortable with everything you could need. It was very well situated with lots of hiking all around, both by car and direct from the chalet itself. Richard and Angela were the perfect hosts; very likeable, helpful and thoughtful and with lots of good advice to make our stay and walks all the better. This was probably the first holiday where we were very sad to leave. Can’t recommend the chalet more. Thank you.

Very nice stay at a very nice chalet.

We had an excellent stay. Only things that could have been better is that the main road is a bit noisy, but not too much and there were construction works across the road.Very kind hosts, we also could use passes for the area, including free lifts.Very content.

Thank you for the comments. The road was unusually busy as the Tour de France Femmes ended in Chatel the day before your visit and their team and supporter traffic lasted a day or two longer.

Very complete chalet!

We have stayed with 5adults and 2 children in the Chalet and enjoyed every day the nice and complete accommodation and service of the owners who live nearby. Thank you for your hospitality and we hope to visit the chalet again in the future!

Superb property in stunning location. Property very well appointed, clean and host very welcoming and helpful with local knowledge. The valley is beautiful and stunning views from the property.Property has excellent amenities, clean with a lovely outdoor space and parking.Beautiful river walk to the village which has an excellent boulangerie and choice of bars/restaurants. The supermarket is very close by.Excellent walks into the mountains, the cable car pass is helpful but some local cable cars not open during later august. There is a good tourist information in the village with local maps for walking and biking.

Everything we could wish for!

Beautiful area and lovely chalet (everything we needed). Very comfortable, warm and welcoming. We went to ski as a family and although the snow was sparse, it was enough for us. Arthur is in an ideal location. Peaceful yet conveniently placed for food shopping, skiing and villages, yet away from the hustle and bustle. Richard and Angela were perfect hosts. Lovely to meet them!

Très beau chalet, authentique, tres agréable. Grand, 8 couchages, au calme. Tous les équipements sont présents, hôtel d une grande gentillesse. Mention spéciale pour les Multipass mis a disposition par notre hote, qui sont un véritable atout pour toutes les activités et remontées du domaine.

Notre séjour s’est très bien déroulé, Richard est très réactif et accueillant, le chalet est exceptionnel, tres bien placé, très confortable et bien équipé.La localisation est parfaite en hiver pour profiter de toutes les pistes de ski sans être dans les bouchon de Chatel Nous reviendrons c’est sur!!

Nous apprecions la commentaire, surtout en temps difficiles à cause du quantité de neige. Les Portes de Soleil offrent une grande choix des points de départ pour les skieurs et nous sommes contents voir les gens qui profitent des coins moins connus.

Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich und man hat viel Platz und eine schöne Sicht auf die Berge. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und gibt viele Tipps für Ausflüge. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt.

Le chalet est grand, confortable, entre deux stations de ski l'accès est facile. Nous avons skié à CHATEL très belle station, l'emplacement du chalet est pratique et de plus, nous avons eu un temps magnifique durant notre séjour.Les propriétaires sont charmants, disponibles et à l'écoute des locataires. Excellent choix de logement.

Schönes Haus in malerischer Gegend

Wir haben eine tolle Ski-Woche bei bestem Wetter verbracht. Das Haus war für unsere 5-köpfige Familie samt Hund sehr geräumig, gut ausgestattet und toll gelegen. Für die Hundespaziergänge ist direkt gegenüber ein schöner Wanderweg. Die Skipisten sind in wenigen Fahrminuten erreichbar.

Sehr schönes Chalet in super Lage

Das Chalet ist sehr schön, gemütlich und sehr gut ausgestattet. Check-In, etc. lässt keine Wünsche übrig. Die Lage und Möglichkeiten von dort aus sind sehr gut: Wandern, Fahrradfahren, nette Ort und Nähe zum Genfer See. Wir werden bestimmt wieder kommen.

Merveilleux séjour

Très bon séjour en famille avec 2 enfants. La neige fut au rdv et les pistes pour skier sont nombreuses et pour tout niveaux. Aux alentours toutes les commodités. Le chalet est très cosy et rien ne manque. Merci au proprietaire pour son accueil. Nous reviendrons j'espère
