Fabulous apartment with stunning views

This wonderful apartment has the most amazing views over the sea and has the most beautiful well kept gardens I’ve seen. The apartment is truly a home from home and is huge! Bruce and Trish were so helpful with all our queries and we felt completely safe with all the additional procedures they have in place in light of the current pandemic. I would definitely rent this apartment again.

Feb 2 to the 8, 2020

We had a very nice time. The place was lovely with a wonderful view. One slight suggestion would be that you install space heaters in the master bedroom and the room with the twin beds. The rooms were quite chilly. We were able to warm the other rooms up but not those two. Otherwise it was a nice stay. The shower door did not seem to be a problem.

Hi Karen, thank you so much for your feedback and we're glad you all enjoyed your stay. It's a shame you didn't request extra heaters when I came up to see you or when I emailed to see if you needed anything, we have lots in stock, there was no need for you to be uncomfortable. We'll get the radiators checked out just in case. Best Wishes, Bruce & Trish.

Crail House has been placed under our care on behalf of the owner.

Why they chose this property

Crail House sits on the commanding site of a twelfth century Royal Castle, of which only a small part remains. The house is still referred to locally as “the castle” and the nearby street names reflect its history.

The house today was built in 1871 by Frederick Thomas Pilkington (1832-1898) the renowned architect. Today the three apartments: Garden View, Harbour View and Sea View are available as holiday lettings and can be booked individually or together.

Crail House stands in impressive grounds extending to more than an acre in an elevated position overlooking the sea, the May Island, and the picturesque harbour of Crail. The views are exceptional.

What makes this property unique

Stunning Views, and manicured gardens.
