We truly enjoyed our stay and Pamela could not have been nicer or more responsive to our needs. While we traveled some distance every day, when we returned it truly felt like home. Thanks for a great vacation.
Relaxing and peaceful stay in a beautiful area. Pamela and family were warm and welcoming. Great hosts, great place to stay, beautiful area, wonderful opportunity to walk around the area on private roads and enjoy the tranquility of this special spot.
Warm and cozy cottage. Lots of hot water and heaters in every room. Kitchen has everything you need. Stating a on a working farm with sheep and cows was a fun experience. The kids loved the game room. Host us the kindest and very thoughtful. Thank you for a wonderful stay in your lovely cottage!
We didn't expect to have so much room. Also, the fireplace was really nice, and everything worked fine. I liked the mooing cows. The yew trees along the front driveway were beautiful. The Virginia Creeper was just changing colors and that was amazing.
Very clean accommodation. Everything you need is there. Children particularly enjoyed the games room. Our 2nd year staying as a family. Thank you Pamela
This is an excellent self catering. house. The hostess is very welcoming and helpful. The house was spotless with good quality furniture, bedding ,and kitchen equipment. Both bedrooms are spacious with beautiful en -suites. There is a tidy garden.. I can highly recommend this property.
Lovely cottage, clean and tidy. Quiet little place. Pamerla was very welcoming. We are definately coming back and will visit oftern. Highly reccommend.
Fantastic cottage had everything needed and the kids really enjoyed the games room which they spent hours in . Great location short drive from Dungiven town and also close to Derry which the was a great visit over the Halloween weekend . Would highly recommend.
My husband and I arrived Saturday afternoon to a warm welcome from Pamela.
The cottage was welcoming, decorated in warm country tones, clean, with a peaceful atmosphere.
We are beef farmers ourselves so wanted a quiet relaxing retreat, home from home, so to speak, I knew we had found the right place to unwind from the busyness of life; a tranquil
location.
Dungiven is only eight miles form Coleraine, the pathway to the North Coast.
The scenery is breath taking different to the Mournes, where I grew up and to Co. Antrim where I now live.
Northern Ireland is like a diamond with its many facets of scenery.
Banagher Glen which was approximately 2 miles from Magheramore Cottage, which we walked twice as we enjoyed it so much.
Our daughter and niece joined us on the Tuesday, they were excited on arrival, as we had told them of Banagher Glen and Garvagh Forest Park, a treasure hidden away with its only known pyramid in Ireland.
We enjoyed a beautiful meal at The Newbridge Restaurant in Coleraine.
Walked from Magilligans Point to Banoe Beach, then treated ourselves to ice cream in the famous North Coast Morelli's in Portstewart.
The seven days passed quickly by, a holiday I didn't want to end.
We got packed and ready for home with our physical batteries recharged and well rested.
We can highly recommend Pamela's Cottages as a beautiful location to get away from it all.
Very enjoyable stay. Accommodation very clean with everything required at hand.
Pamela our host was lovely, very welcoming and accommodating. Property extremely clean and tidy. Lovely quiet environment. Kids had a ball. Loved the games room. Very very pleased. Will definitely be back. Thanks Pamela for everything x
We had a wonderful holiday in this property. The cottage was clean and fully equipped and the host was very welcoming. My children loved the Wee Barn pool table, table tennis, table football and air hockey and are eager to return. The area is quiet, rural and there are lots of lovely walks from the door. Easy reach of the Causeway coast, Derry.
We (family of 5) had a wonderful week staycation. The cottage was excellent as a base for us and very well equipped with everything we could need. Pamela and Ian were perfect hosts and helped us with any queries. The cottage is an old stable from the 1700’s that has been converted to an excellent holiday cottage. It also has a private back garden and access to a games room. We will be back.
Great stop between Londonderry and Giants Causeway. Comfortable accomodation with extras provided. Friendly welcoming host. A short distance from the nearby town.
Pamela and Ian were accommodating hosts who took and interest in our plans and did all in their power to make sure we made the most of our time in their lovely home! The 3 cottages at Megheramore Court are beautifully appointed and made a comfortable base for our travels in ‘The North’. Easy access by bus in the village to both Londonderry (Derry as it is known locally) as well as Belfast. Dungiven village had a charm of it’s own with the people we met at ‘McReynolds Pub’! Wonderful experience!!

Why they chose this property
Situated on a working farm, the old farm outbuildings have been transformed into luxury cottages. They are situated within walking distance of Banagher Glen National Nature Reserve - a very colourful scenic area with an array of wild flowers and an abundance of bird life, not forgetting streams which gush along the valley floors. Benone Beach, The Giant's Causeway and the Old Bushmills Distillery are a few attractions les than an hour's drive away.
