Situated within 5 min walk to the beach and the newly open Lazure Marina and Beach resort in Meljine, as well as 3 supermarkets, numerous restaurants, a hospital, and a bank, Josephine apartment offers a spacious outdoor area fully fenced and secure, ideal for alfresco dining and entertaining or where children can play safely. Equipped with garden furniture, sun loungers, and space to park your car.
The accommodation consists of:
2 double bedrooms (one with king bed, one with twin beds)
2 bathrooms, both with shower cubicles,
open plan lounge/kitchen/diner with sofas,
sleeping capacity: up to 4 adults, or 2/3 adults +1/2 children.
Situatedin a private house, in a safe, no-through road. Facilities include; Washing machine, Satellite TV, Free Wi-Fi, Free Air condition.
Fully equipped for a self-catering holiday, including oven and hob, fridge, microwave oven, and a lot more. Bed linen and hand/bath towels are provided.
The apartment is situated in Meljine, a small coastal village adjacent to Herceg Novi. The 5 miles long sea promenade is perfect for that evening walk following the excesses of great food and wine.
Various tours can be arranged with travel agent either by minibus, private car hire with a driver or by boat. Suitable for adults and children.
A car is not necessary, but with so much to see, we recommend it.
Airport transfers (Tivat and Dubrovnik) can be arranged.
Please note that there is a small hill on the approach and as such may not be suitable for the elderly or people with mobility problems.
Important: There is an additional charge of €1.20 per person, per night payable in cash on arrival to the local authorities for tourist tax. Rubbish to be disposed daily, if possible, and taken to the containers at the bottom of the road. This is to discourage gathering of ants and cats. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Nice garden and good location.

Jan was the most wonderful and helpful host! The apartment was well planned and the terrace was great. We found everything within walkingdistance.

Walk to beach. Children friendly.

It is a wonderful apartment, very clean and spacious. It had everything we needed. There is a very large patio and it is fully fenced where we could let our children loose. We came with our 6 and 9 year old children and enjoyed going to the beach every day, which was only a few minutes walk away. We loved taking a stroll on the sea promenade in the evenings and the local restaurants had great food. The area is very safe and I can highly recommend it. The owners were extremely helpful and pointed us in the right direction to good restaurants, supermarkets and local activities. We can't wait to go back!

Landschaft und Entspannung pur

Nach mehreren Aufenthalten in Kroatien hatten wir uns für dieses Jahr Montenegro als Ziel gesetzt. Im Vorfeld hatten wir von Freunden und Bekannten schon viel positives über dieses Land gehört. Aber von Anfang an: Die Unterkunft hatten wir nach einiger Suche gefunden und gebucht. Kurz nach der Buchung bekamen wir auch schon eine WhatsApp von unserer Vermieterin. Die Kommunikation lief problemlos auf Englisch und wir fühlten uns gut vorbereitet und eingewiesen. Angekommen vor Ort wurden wir per Telefon (Achtung Roaming-Kosten!) die letzten Meter zur Ferienwohnung gelotst. Die Zufahrt zum Grundstück stellte nur die ersten Male eine Herausforderung dar. Und hier auch der einzige kleine Kritikpunkt. Die Ferienwohnung liegt in einem Wohngebiet und es kam schon vor, dass der Nachbar um 06:00 Uhr sein Auto gestartet hat und ein Hund gebellt hat. Aber man hat ja Urlaub und dann dreht man sich um und schläft entspannt weiter. Die Ferienwohnung erwies sich als sehr sauber und großzügig. Wir wurden sehr herzlich von Jan und Nick begrüßt und bekamen bei einem gemeinsamen Kaffeebesuch die ersten und wichtigsten Informationen über Einkaufs-, Ess-, Bade- und Ausflugsmöglichkeiten in der näheren Umgebung. Alles deutete auf einen erlebnisreichen Urlaub hin. Und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Montenegro bezaubert durch eine atemberaubende Natur, die sich alle paar Kilometer ändert. Kleine Dörfer, eng an einen Berg geschmiegt, so dass nur noch eine kleine Straße zwischen Wasser und Häuser passt. Steile Hänge, die bis ins Wasser fallen und sich in der Bucht von Kotor spiegeln. Aussichten, die einem den Atem rauben und zu eindrucksvoll für Kameras sind. Alles in allem war es ein sehr schöner und erlebnisreicher Urlaub.

Lovely Montenegro Holiday

We had a lovely stay in the apartment. Jan is a warm, welcoming and attentive host who looked after us extremely well. The apartment has everything you would need and the kitchen is particularly well equipped, although eating out for the two of us was so reasonable that we rarely used it! We made good use of the large terrace and really enjoyed evenings in the local sea front restaurants / bars, walkable in just a few minutes and with great views of the bay, marina and mountains. Can recommend Montenegro as a destination & Jan as a host.

Nice and beautiful, close to the sea

This is very nice and beautiful place to stay. We really liked the accommodation, especially the location (closeness to the beach and grocery store) and the layout (it has a lot of space for 3 or even 4). The accommodation was clean and in good condition with all essential necessities. Snezana was very hospitable, pleasant and helpful, what made our trip easy and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this apartments to everyone who is going to stay in Montenegro and would like to spend some time in such a lovely place like we did.

Beautifully maintained home with all mod cons

This is a lovely home from home, well maintained and equipped with all facilities any family would need for a holiday. Highlight is a lovely terrace for outside dining and rooms are spacious and light and fitted out to high standard. The town is ideally situated for exploring Montenegro and the swimming water is incredibly clean. Jan and Rajko couldn't have looked after our enquiries any better and add plenty of inside knowledge to their natural charm and willingness to help and advise on places to visit. I would highly recommend this apartment as a comfortable base to explore a beautiful territory. Plenty of shops nearby. A slight incline immediately outside the property and there is a good bus service, but a car would be highly recommended for fully exploring the region. Looking forward to returning to see more.

Highly recommended

Location of the apartment is great. The nearest beach is just 5 min away, but you may find a lot of them depending on your requirements as you walk down the nice promenade with beautiful seafront view. Supermarkets are also close: the first one VOLI is just 3 min away and the other one IDEA is around 7-10 min away from the apartment. On the way to IDEA you may find local bakery on the right and the pharmacy on the left. The apartment itself is fully equipped and kids friendly. A big PLUS is a patio where we spent all our mornings and evenings. Special thanks to Snezana's team: Rajko who picked us up from the airport and Dobrila who helped us to keep the apartment clean. Everybody was very supportive to us.

Wonderful vacation!

Beautiful country, nice city, sweet hosts are the best set for any traveler. I was charmed by the host of this apartment prior the trip. Snezana was very passionate to our request and helped us to make the best choice. The company of four persons with one child, we were looking for the place where we could combine work and rest. This place met our requirements, it's well-equipped, stylish and one can feel like home here. The yard deserves special attention, it's spacious, green, clean and one has more opportunity to spend time out-door. What is more, the hosts are very attentive and kind. Let me express my appreciation to the atmosphere you surround your quests, your support and help. Dear Nick and Snezana, let the luck be your ever satellite in your business and life!

Great place to stay!

I would highly recommend the appartment for its proximity to the sea, well-kept interiors with wonderful yard and all the facilities included. My husband and I are British couple of Montenegrin origin. We are both retired and spend the summers in Montenegro, but the rest of the year in England (West Sussex). We are very lucky, we have the best of both worlds and living the dream! We have a daughter and 2 two grandchildren.
