Staying in the city does not imply feeling and living all the movement of people, traffic and noise! In this nice apartment you can enjoy the best of the city of Funchal, staying in a quiet place, where you can be dazzled by a fantastic view of the beautiful city bay.

This apartment has a decoration that combines practical and modern furniture, with small classic details, creating a relaxed and cared environment. With a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom, and a living room with a sofa bed, this property sleeps a maximum of four people.
In addition to the interior space, the house has a small terrace that you can use to have a drink in the evening or enjoy your meals during your stay.
The house has a free parking space and is fully equipped with all amenities.

THE NEIGHBOURHOOD AND THE SURROUNDING AREA
This apartment is located in a quiet residential area, close to the center of Funchal. Its location allows you to move easily to any place in the city or the island, with close access to the highway that connects the east, west and north of the island.
Nearby you will find some cafes, snack-bars and small grocery stores. The nearest supermarket is 5 minutes away by car.

TRANSPORT
For departures and arrivals from the airport, the best option to reach the apartment will be the transfer. Ask us to book one with our local partners. It is cheaper than the cabs you find at the airport!

OTHER REMARKS
- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid identification document (e.g. passport, identity card).

- All bed linens and towels are provided. We can also place a crib, high chair, and baby bathtub if needed. There is a first aid kit, fire extinguishers and fire blanket at all properties.

Great accommodation with a beautiful view

Very comfortable, spacious for 2 people. Great location with private parking. Loved the balcony. Very central and close to sites in Funchal. Loved it.

The apartment is pleasant, comfortable, has a spacious garage, a good outdoor area, and an elevator. All of our requests were met during our stay. Its location is a 15-minute walk from Funchal's center, which is covered on steep hills. The only drawback is the existence of a bar across from the apartment, which is a bit of a nuisance when sleeping.

Everything was really nice , except the really loud dogs at anytime of the day and the people who stay at the shop directly in front of our sleeping room

Good place to stay if you are fit.

The flat was well equipped with appliances. The outside furniture could be more comfortable but was adequate. We had a lovely time. It would have helped to talk to a real person as we found it hard working out bus services and best places to go to. When we phoned for a replacement kitchen gadget this was responded to the next day. The street and local dogs are very noisy so the windows have be closed at night. We would go back but would choose somewhere without such a steep hill.

Tolles Unterkunft in Funchal

Alles hervorragend (kontaktlos) funktioniert, sauber, zentrale Lage (10 min.) zur Altstadt. Kleiner Laden gegenüber, top TG-Parkplatz (selten in den engen steilen Gassen von Funchal).

Séjour parfait , très agréable.

Très bonne situation, appartement parfait et très bien équipé. Accès très facile a pied au centre de Funchal ( ça remonte raide pour le retour. Accès facile aux voies rapides pour sortir de la ville en voiture. Garage très pratique, mais il vaut mieux avoir une petite voiture, les rues sont étroites! Appartement a recommander, vue magnifique sur la mer et la ville...

Geräumiges Apartment ganz in der Nähe des Zentrums von Funchal. Für den Aufstieg aus der Altstadt sollte man aber gut zu Fuß sein. Die Betreung durch AIA war ganz toll! Ich habe mich gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Nach vier Tagen gab es sogar eine Zwischenreinigung und neue Handtücher. Wunderbare Aussicht vom Balkon auf Funchal. In der Küche, die gut ausgestattet ist, gibt es sogar eine Spülmaschine. Angenehme, freundliche Nachbarschaft, nur die Hunde der Umgebung bellen abends leider manchmal viel und laut. Ich würde sofort nochmals Urlaub dort machen. 👍🏼

Super Lage mit tollem Blick über Funchal

Schönes gemütliches Apartment, etwas erhöht, mit phantastischem Blick von der Terrasse über die Stadt bis zum Meer und Hafen. Zu Fuß ca. 10 Minuten in das Zentrum. Die Ausstattung war gut, wir haben nichts vermisst. Eine 2. Heizung wurde uns sofort auf Anfrage gebracht. Maria von An Island Apart und Fabio waren sehr hilfsbereit, bei Nachfragen sofort zur Stelle und haben innerhalb kürzester Zeit reagiert. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

It's not the quiet apartment that is advertised

From neighbours that play loud music all night, the traffic that almost drives through the bedroom and the slamming front door next to the bedroom: this place is not the quiet apartment that is advertised. The mattress is rather thing and the iron springs make it uncomfortable. We would recommend to stay away from this apartment, for this price.

Appartement avec lave linge , lave vaisselle tout confort, terrasse vue sur mer avec possibilité de manger à l'extérieur seul inconvénient une côté de 900 mètres très raide pour se rendre du centre ville à l' appartement ce qui devrait être signalé dans l'annonce pour les personnes fragiles.

Skvěle nás přivítali.

I přes 2 h zpoždění letu na nás transfer na letišti čekal. Hned po příletu nám volala paní z ubytování. Měla trpělivost s naší špatnou angličtinou. Vše vysvětlila, ukázala. Apartmán byl nad očekávání vybaven dokonce mýdlem na ruce, jarem, gelem na praní, utěrkama na nádobí, olejem, solí, kávou. Do detailu promyšlený a vybavený. Ve sklepě zarezervované místo na parkování, za což jsme byli vděční, protože parkovat v těch úzkých a strmých uličkách by nás stalo mnoho úsilí. Toto ubytování bylo zatím nejlepší, co jsem zažila.

Excellent value for money and a great terrace with wonderful views

We really enjoyed our stay at the apartment in Rua dos Arrifes, especially the large terrace with views of the ocean and the city, where we had breakfast and dinner. The apartment is fully equipped and has very stylish furniture. Free inside parking was also a big plus.

A good place to stay on a beautiful island

A nice place with a beautiful view from the terrace. Has enough space and all the required amenities. Easy walking access to the city center and shopping mall. Also there is a small shop down the street with enough stuff to make breakfast or buy some water/snacks. As a minus, I would only mention that the apartment is on the first floor and bedroom windows face the street, so it might be a bit noisy in the evening, but nothing critical.

Fantastic place

Apartment clean, well-equipped kitchen. Everything works. Comfortable beds. A beautiful view from the terrace of the city. In the apartment everything as described. An additional advantage is the garage under the building :)

A lovely place to stay

A clean and spacious apartment with a sunny patio, which had great views. Very quiet apart from a few barking dogs. Close to the centre of Funchal: 10 minutes to walk there, but 20 minutes to walk back up the hill.

Magnifique Séjour à Madère

Très bon accueil, appartement conforme aux photos et description du site, très bon rapport qualité/prix. L'emplacement est parfait (sur les hauteurs de la ville à 10mn à pied du centre historique et commerçant), vue imprenable du balcon. Je recommande.
