All around great weekend

Experience at the west gate was great. Staff was very friendly and everything was easy from check in till checkout. Photos were exactly what we experience minus jacuuzi tub,which was not a game changer. Place was clean and nice. A+ you guys

This was the worst place I have ever stayed. Minus 10

This is the issue with the overall experience with Homeaway. I asked for a reservation and was told the original one I couldn't get but the agent Steve said he could get me another room for the same price . I was leary but was guaranteed 2 queen beds oceanfront. I was going to cancel because something didn't feel right but Steve said all the pictures that I was sent were correct and they looked great. Every emai and correspondence was being sent with details for the Westgate Hotel not the Polynesian which is where I ended up Once I arrived I contacted Steve with the details and asked for some kind of compensation or refund. He said he wasn't trying to mislead me and if we wanted to check out he would refund our money. With no other place to go with our dog and have already prepaid for other activities I had no choice to stay. I also sent photos of the room I had to stay in and again asked for his help but he neglected to respond. Thank god I had brought pillows from home and had 2 blankets in our car because we slept on top of the beds. Which comes to another issue I got 2 double beds which I was specifically told would be queen. That Hotel doesn't even have queens beds oceanfront. My husband is 6'3 and I said we had to have queen beds...We had to sleep in separate beds(some romantic vacation) the walls, floors, bathroom were dirty and the hallway and doors to get into we're a nightmare. No card reader you put into a slot to open our door just regular door keys which were hard to even open. I am requesting that a manager our someone with some authority to contact me. I would never use Homeaway site again . I will be posting my rocomendation to stay away from using you all.
