SEA LA VIE is in the golfing community of Rotonda West Florida. SEA LA VIE means “It is the life”. That is exactly what you will experience in this three bedroom dream home. Situated in a quiet and peaceful residential area, the community of Rotonda West is renowned for the beautiful golf courses and the area is also known for its white sandy beaches. 5 golf courses are just minutes away from our home! Rotonda West is located in the south-west gulf coast of Florida. Be prepared to sit back, relax and enjoy your surroundings.

This is a smoke free home that is newly remodeled and sits on freshwater canal which features new furniture and appliances and is a three bedroom home that also has an office. Our home will comfortably sleep 6-8. SEA LA VIE’s floor plan features a bright open feeling with high ceilings. The living room, breakfast area and master bedroom all have glass doors to give you the ultimate view of the pool, canal and open space. The kitchen is furnished along with stainless steel appliances and utensils and also offers a large eat in kitchen with additional seating in the formal dining room. Off of the kitchen and living room, there is large lanai that comes furnished with a patio table and chairs for relaxing around the pool. The lanai is screened in to prevent flying pests from getting in and there is a view of the canal.

The spacious living room also is furnished with a smart television and sectional couch. The master bedroom contains a king size bed along with a smart T.V. The master bedroom has a oversized tub and walk-in shower. The second bedroom offers a queen size bed with a T.V. The third bedroom has two twin beds, dresser, and large television. We also have a home office with a pull out couch that can be used for additional sleeping comfortably. Need to sleep with a fan? No worries, each bedroom has a box fan for your pleasure. SEA LA VIE also has an onsite washer and dryer and free Wi-Fi for your personal or business needs. Our home features a custom-made kitchen and bathroom cabinets with granite counter tops. Enjoy fresh squeezed juice pool side every morning that you have made with our restaurant quality masticating juicer. Punta Gorda airport also offers many inexpensive direct flights to this area. Only 10 miles to the beaches of Englewood or Boca Grande. Need a stroller or car seat? We have both for your convenience.

We had a great time staying in a beautiful home in Rotonda West, our old neighborhood. Everything we needed for a great stay was available to us in the house. The pool was fantastic and heated to a perfect temperature for our enjoyment. We hope to book a stay with Dorian agian in the future.

Comfortable Home

We really enjoyed our stay at Sea La Vie. I chose this property for the pool and the office space as my husband needed to work for part of the trip. It was perfect. The home was well-stocked compared to other houses we have rented on VRBO. Great location as we explored several different beaches. The hosts left little notes throughout the house which were very helpful. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Beautiful home, amazingly appointed!

Stayed Christmas week with my children, ages 16-21. We got in very late after being in a car accident, and was so appreciative that the home had every we needed to start the week. Dorian thought of everything and communicated in advance of our trip and reminded me of the door code via text after our accident. We would definitely stay again!

We loved our stay at Sea La Vie (3/9/18 - 3/16/18). The house was perfect for our family and had all the perks we read about on previous reviews. Dorian was great to work with, and responded to any messages right away. Quality restaurants and bars were close by. Great beaches in Englewood and Boca Grande were a short drive away. The pool was awesome and there are great paths for your morning walks or bike rides. Can't wait to come back! Thank you for a great getaway!

Sea La Vie

This is our second time to spend January at Sea La Vie. What a wonderful experience. Jim and Dorian are so easy to work with and make us feel like we are all friends. Their home is lovely with every convenience. The neighborhood is wonderful and very close to any amenity that we might need. We have even found a wonderful church, Fellowship Church, right in the middle of the circle. We wouldn't consider anywhere else and already have made reservations for January 2026

Home away from home!

Sea La Vie is home away from home! The house is wonderful, and we love the layout and all the amenities. The location is perfect with close access to shopping, the park, and the church we love to attend. We could not have asked for better hosts! Jim and Dorian were very friendly, easy to communicate with, and showed much hospitality. Our only regrets are that we did not get to see Charlotte the gopher tortoise and we had to return home. However, we are looking forward to returning next year!!

Excellent stay!

We spent 9 weeks this winter at Sea la vie.The house and its location was everything we were looking for! Dorian and Jim have been gracious hosts were quick to respond to any questions. The house is beautiful, the kitchen is well stocked which was perfect as we cook a lot. The screened pool and lanai were where we spent every chance we could get! The neighborhood is very quiet and the entire community that we encountered were very friendly and welcoming. The beds are comfortable and each room has a tv which was really appreciated. Even the lanai has a tv which was great! The Englewood beach area is a short distance and although Hurricane Ian caused mass destruction in this area, the recovery has been astounding and many businesses have reopened so finding a restaurant was never an issue. We really love the area and absolutely loved the house. It was a great find and we were very pleased! Thank you Jim & Dorian!

Beautiful Retreat

Everything about this rental was nearly perfect! Dorian was easy to communicate with and always fast to respond. The property is beautiful and very clean. We were able to cook many meals with all the utensils available. The house is in a quiet, lovely neighborhood and we enjoyed many walks with our dog. We also enjoyed the pool! We plan on visiting again as soon as we can! I highly recommend this property!

Awesome vacation rental

This house was beautiful! It was so clean, comfortable and well stocked. I can't express enough how clean it was. It was decorated so nice and felt so homey. The pool was so relaxing and clean. There is also a large TV outside by the pool and a big table with chairs as well as lounging chairs and pool accessories. We loved drinking our coffee out there in the morning. The pool was my kids favorite part. It is fully enclosed so we were not bothered by bugs and such. It is so nice to have a private pool. Dorian was a gem. The response time to any of my questions was quick, polite and efficient. I really felt welcomed. The beds were so comfortable and we had plenty of room as the house is big. I loved the office area and the sofa pulls out to a bed if needed. My kids loved using it for their quiet time to read, do puzzles or simply listen to music. The house has plenty of seating for meals, TV time and relaxation. The only "problem", if you can call it that, is that there is no door in the master bath. It is completely open to the bedroom and can be seen if you are lounging on the bed. I didn't mind it for the tub and shower as we are a married couple. But the toilet is out in the open too. It is tucked between the shower and closet. But there is no door. If you don't mind handling your business in front of your spouse, this will not be a problem. We both like privacy in that area. We like to keep a little mystery between us. Lol. We would ask each other to leave the room when we needed to use the toilet. There is another full bath for the other two bedrooms which you could use if it was not being occupied by 2 teenage girls. If you have teenagers you know how hard it is to get into the bathroom. Overall, this was an amazing vacation rental which had everything we could possibly need. It truly was a home away from home. Thank you Dorian for making our stay so wonderful.

Best stay in area in 10 years

My family and I have been coming to Englewood for family vacation for 10 years and this was by far our favorite rental property we’ve had. We typically stayed on Manasota key in years prior but our house there is no longer available so we decided to branch out into the Rotunda West area. The house is in such a nice, safe neighborhood with access to walking and biking paths. It was so easy to relax there since everything is so quiet. The house was immaculate and we had everything we needed for a great week there. The heated pool and screened in patio was our favorite feature of the house and where we spent most of our time there. Dorian was very helpful and available as well. 10 out of 10 recommend! We will certainly be back.

Peaceful and relaxing

What a wonderful "home" away from home. Dorian answered my texts promptly if we had any questions. The house was comfortable and inviting we felt right at home. My favorite spot was the lanai with coffee in the morning and the pool all day. Such a quiet neighborhood. So many close restaurants and the beach at Boca Grande was my second favorite. Thank you for a wonderful vacation. Can't wait to come back.

Great Stay!

House had everything we needed. The pool was nice even though the weather was cool during our stay. 15 to 20 minutes to two beaches - Englewood and Boca Grande. We also visited Venice beach while there - not too much further. Beds and couch were very comfortable. It even has a "beer fridge" in the garage! I would recommend this house to everyone.

Quiet week away

We were just looking to get some warm weather for a week. Half working while there and it was convenient with space / office. Area is quiet and allowed to get some sun without crowds. The 2 college age kids with us for a few days enjoyed the pool and abundant tvs. Owner was very responsive - bought a new coffee maker when we inquired about k cups.

This home was so beautiful and clean and provided everything from bikes, pool floats, beach towels, and tons of kitchen appliances. The owner was extremely helpful and reached out several times during our stay to make sure everything was going well and responded very quickly when we had a question. This was the perfect getaway for our group to play tennis and relax!

The house was good...

Check in and communication was excellent. We had a problem with the pool heater and Dorian worked diligently to resolve the issue. Communication was excellent though dealing with that. Bikes were nice, neighborhood was very quiet. Drive to the beach wasn’t bad. Location was nice in the sense that you can get to many things relatively quick. My kids loved souvenirs shopping and there’s a place nearby called Pirates Dream. It has a lot of different things. We drove to Clearwater beach (2 hours away) and Siesta Key (1 hour away) and Venice Beach (40 mins or so away) we did an airboat tour though peace water charters and saw many alligators. We enjoyed our time at the house as well. My kids were happy that there were board games and tons of dvds. The kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed our stay.

We love this area! Close to the beaches, great restaurants on the water, very quiet area, airport is only 30 minutes away in Punta Gorda and the beach is a 15 minute drive. We live in a community that has 5 golf courses within just a few miles from our home! Now you know why we chose Rotonda West!
