Very good property in ideal location

The canyon lake area is beautiful with many different parks available. It is truly a gated community with its own fire and security departments. This property would work very well for a family with its back yard fire pit, different parks and play ground areas. Our hosts were great and responded promptly to our requests.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home and the wonderful area of Canyon Lake. We hope to be back soon! Both hosts were lovely and very communicative, going above and beyond for us during our time in the States. You won’t regret it if you book a stay here. Great Location and Great Hosts

The house is situated on a lovely friendly safe gated community. The beaches, lake and other facilities are great. The house is a great size and catered for all our needs while we were away. The outside garden is great with a fire pit, BBQ and plenty of seating for relaxing after a long day out about. The real gem of this house is the owners, JaniceRenee and Lance, two of the nicest people you could possibly meet. They were always available by phone or to pop over if needed and were quick and friendly to help out when we needed info or help on a few things. My family had a great holiday and would recommend 100%. Thanks JaniceRenee and Lance, we appreciated all you're help.

Most comfortable home we've ever stayed in!

We travel quite a bit and have had some hit and miss luck with VRBO. However, Janice Renee and Lance not only have an exceptional property equipped to the nines, they are a lovely couple as well. We enjoyed getting to know them and are so happy to now call them good friends. This beautiful home sits just high enough on the street that you can see the lake and watch the ski boats. We found everything in each room to be well placed and functional. You can tell they put a lot of thought into answering what a guest might need. The kitchen has really nice appointments and they even stocked dishwasher soap and cleaners for us. Most Vrbos we have stayed in don't do that. So refreshing to find soaps, trash bags, cling wrap, laundry detergent, coffee, sugar etc. all ready and waiting for us. The home has an awesome floor plan for entertaining or just curling up with a book. The back yard is great for al fresco dining with the six top table and plenty of umbrellas and shade sails. And did I mention what great hosts they are? My husband needed to work virtually during our stay and Lance even brought over an extra table for us to use as an additional desk. I just can't say enough about this place or its owners. You will not regret this property choice at Canyon Lake. We will definitely be staying here the next time we're in the area to visit family.

Perfect location!

Perfect location! This house was centrally located to all the main SoCal attractions. The gated lake community has tons to offer and always seemed very active. Lance and Janice Renee were very attentive and I appreciate them allowing us to stay at their place. I look forward to another trip as my schedule allows.

Amazing place in Canyon Lake and great hosts !

Lance and Renee are amazing. They made everything for our stay to be unforgettable despite the Covid containment in California. Wonderful place with great and modern equipment. Would come again without any doubt !

Great home

After a few rentals in Canyon Lake on previous vavations we booked this house. Janice Renee and Lance are very easy to work with - their house is well maintained and nice place to stay in. Even though the house is not lake front and has no pool - short drive will take you to one of the lake's beaches, remember to take the beach chairs - and you have it all.

Canyon Lake Gem

This vacation home was a very enjoyable and delightful experience. Janice Renee and Lance were most helpful which made my stay a memorable one. The home is beautifully decorated and definantly has a vacation feel and yet I felt right at home. One of my favorite places was the front porch in the morning overlooking the lake with a cup of coffee. The fire pit called my name in the evening and was most relaxing. I stayed at this home mostly by myself but at times during my three week stay I had family members. The home slept six people very comfortably. Highly recommend this vacation home!

Great home. Great management.

Our family of 6 had an extended stay here for several weeks. The house worked out great for us. The location is very nice, and it's an easy commute to March ARB. Lance and Jae were wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed. They even gave us suggestions of things to do in the area. Would definitely recommend this property!

Great Experience

This is my first time writing a review for any place we have stayed in or rented, and I was so happy with every aspect of our stay I want others to feel confidant and comfortable renting this beautiful home. I was hesitant initially to rent this home because there were no reviews prior to our stay, but the great communication and information I received from the owners, Jae & Lance, soon eased my mind. Upon arrival Jae met us at the house to let us in and gave us a short tour. The house is beautiful on a quiet cul-de-sac in a great neighborhood within a 2 minute walk to the beautiful lake and a nice little sandy beach which you can see from the house. The home sits elevated on a hill so you don't have any neighbors behind and there was always a cool breeze coming up the hill and blowing through the house. It was very pleasant to sit outside in the evening and have dessert at the patio table or by the lovely fire pit and relax at sunset. The house is open with vaulted ceilings with plenty of room, and could easily accommodate more than our little group of 4. I will caution that there is a 10-12 step stairway leading to the front door so wheelchair or disabled persons may have difficulty. I was surprised by all the amenities in the private gated community including: a park with 4 baseball/soccer fields, equestrian facility, 10 lighted tennis courts with shaded gazebos, and a nice resort style clubhouse with a bar & grill that overlooks the beach and lake, and a very enticing looking golf course –definitely will bring my clubs next time. We came to So Cal to visit the Temecula Wine country, Disneyland, SeaWorld, and the beach – which are all within about 1 hour drive as stated…but next time we may just stay and enjoy the very cozy house and surrounding activities. I highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a vacation home – we will definitely be back. Jae & Lance were excellent and helped us with so many requests. Thank you for all you did.

Amenities, amenities, amenities! Aside from the many activities in the resort community of Canyon Lake - concerts, car shows, fireworks over the lake, here is a brief list:
Canyon lake: Golf, Tennis, Pickleball, Basketball, soccer/baseball/football fields, horseback riding & stables, Watersports (water ski & wakeboard courses), incredible fishing, beach, and serene hiking in the hills (locked trailhead gate is 500 yds away - and I have a key!), and much more!
We provide: 2 10 speed bikes, Beach chairs and canopy, coolers, Sports equipt and rackets, fishing outfits, - if you need it we probably have what ever you need for you day trip or outing.
There are actually 2 lakes the back lake goes for about 2 miles and is rarely used making for a quiet hike or run. Access is by boat, 4x4, or locked hiking gate, and we are situated right between the 2 lakes and just steps from the front door!

What makes this property unique

Security - Canyon lake is a guard gated community with city police & facilities as well as private security located inside the gates. We are right in the middle of all So California hot spots: 1 hour drive to: Beach & coastline, San Diego, Los Angeles, Disneyland & Knotts Berry farm, SD Wild animal Park, Big Bear & San Jacinto mountains. 30 min to: Temecula Wine country and Old Town, Lake Elsinore skydiving and motocross parks.
