Stunning hilltop Trullo with pool, large garden + amazing view. Great Location.

Dear Pamela, I do apologise for this hick up in our maintenance. We had a huge problem with our pool cleaners that week (who also take care of the garden). I would like to point out, however, that everything was taken care of the day after your arrival.

We welcome all reviews, though we are deeply surprised by your comments, as they do not accurately reflect the high standards of maintenance and care we consistently provide for our villa. To ensure future guests have an accurate picture, we would like to clarify a few points: • Property Condition: Both the interior and exterior of our villa are regularly maintained and kept in excellent condition. • Furniture & Lighting: You let us know about the chair with the broken leg. As this chair is one of many chairs in the house (far more than needed for four guess), we kindly asked you to switch it with one of the chairs from another room so we would have time to buy the same one again. You replied that this was absolutely ok. • Regarding the broken light, there was a technical fault with a single light fixture which is one of many. This broken just before your arrival and we could not repair it on time. Again, this was definitely not an issue as there was sufficent lighting in that room. • Pool & Patio Area: We do not provide a parasol because the pool area features a large, custom-built shaded structure for our guests' comfort. Regarding the pool pump, we apologize for the unexpected technical breakdown; as you noted, we acted immediately to have a technician repair it as quickly as possible. • Property Management: The comment regarding the host's identity seems to be a complete misunderstanding. You were welcomed and checked out by the property manager—not the owner. This was communicated clearly to you. We wish you and your family all the best in your future travels.

I'm truly sorry that things were not as expected. I'm surprised by the comment regarding the sunbeds though - I did check them before your arrival and they all seemed to be properly working. We had also just replaced two of them. It is a shame you did not tell me about any of these issues during your stay - we would have been over immediately in order to take care of them.

Thank you very much for your message. We do apologise if the outside wasn't as it should have been when you arrived. We had had bad weather just before your check-in which made it difficult to prepare the outside area. This has of course now been done. We do hope to maybe welcome you again.

I'm very sorry that the accommodation did not meet your expectations. When you told us about the access path to the pool we sent the gardener immediately to take care of it. Thank you for your remarks regarding the towels and shower curtains. We do take extra care to make sure all of these items are always in perfect condition and do apologise if any of them were not during your stay.
