For walks the choice is endless and one of the best cliff-top walks in central Scotland starts right at the cottages! Stirling is a vibrant but compact university city offering wonderful attractions, including an incredible castle, the amazing Wallace Monument, the historic Church of the Holy Rude and even ghost tours. There are restaurants to suit all tastes, swimming pools, sport centres, multiplex cinema, theatre, museum, pubs and shops. The best bit is that Stirling is very much a year round destination. The perfect place for the perfect holiday! Shops, pubs and restaurants 4 miles.

We had a lovely relaxing time.
We had a lovely relaxing time. A 'get away from it all' in these worrying times. We were impressed with the welcome pack and the Prosecco was a nice touch! Beautiful cottage with a lovely view. Enjoyed watching the birds with the binoculars! We hope to return sometime in the future.

What a lovely place, we have been here a number of times.
What a lovely place, we have been here a number of times. The cottages are spot on, everything you need is there, lots of space inside, you feel at home straight away.
Location is perfect for Edinburgh and Glasgow, a short drive into Stirling for all train services. Beautiful views and fantastic walks straight out of the door as well.
We will be back and thats probably the strongest recommendation I can make.

An absolute stunning location, feeling like it's in the middle of nowhere but actually only 10 mins
An absolute stunning location, feeling like it's in the middle of nowhere but actually only 10 mins from all the amenities you could want.
The cottage has all that you could need and more. The welcome pack and the binoculars thoughtful additions.
George was attentive yet unobtrusive, and full of useful local tips.
Do try to do the walk round the loch and up over the cliffs, the views are stunning, and The Robert The Bruce visitors centre is fab (free entrance if you're an NT member).
I would have no qualms what so ever in recommending Peregrine Cottage to anyone.
