Repose Cottage boasts lovely views and has plenty of nearby activities; there’s a beach, wildlife and loch angling found locally.. Ground Floor:

Bedroom 2: Single (3ft) Bed. Electric heaters, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Sitting-out area. Bike store. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. Repose Cottage is a well-appointed, semi-detached property adjoining the owner’s home in the crofting township of Crossbost in the North Lochs with outstanding views over Loch Leurbost, open countryside and several other small lochans. Set in a very central location for exploring all of the area, the property is 10 miles from the main town of Stornoway which has much to offer in shopping, restaurants, museums and An Lanntair – Lantern art centre and cultural venue. Enjoy days out visiting the historical sites of the Callanish Stones, Carolway Broch, Ness Heritage Centre, Bosta and Great Benera. Blackhouse Village is also worth a visit or just enjoy the pristine sandy beaches on the west coast. Uig Bay is where the famous Lewis Chessmen were found. There is an abundance of wildlife nearby and it is a birdwatcher’s paradise, and loch and sea angling can also be found locally. Boat trips depart from Stornoway, Uig and Great Bernera for whale or dolphin watching and also further afield to the Shiant Isles and St Kilda. The area has so much to offer so come, explore and enjoy. Beach 200 yards. Shop and restaurant 3 miles.

For ferries that travel to Orkney are Northlink Ferries 08001114422 and Pentland Ferries 0800 688 8998. We also recommend taking out travel insurance in case of delays and cancellations.
