If you want a really peaceful location in a beautiful cottage that’s furnished to a high standard
If you want a really peaceful location in a beautiful cottage that’s furnished to a high standard the Leisure Hour can’t be beaten. It’s tastefully decorated and provides you with everything you need, including a well equipped kitchen. We had a really great holiday and the Information about the cottage is spot on.
We were very surprised to read some of the comments in the visitors book about the lack of WiFi and Sky TV! Leisure Hour is not the holiday home for those who can’t manage without WiFi, Sky TV and social media. This is all made very clear before booking.
We have stayed twice and will be hoping to stay again.

Property very dated and could do with updating in some area’s.
Property very dated and could do with updating in some area’s.
WiFi would be an advantage but you are made aware that this is not supplied.
Garden loungers were falling apart and may have been eaten by mice foam falling out of the back also garden is lovely but if it rains the grass floods and becomes impassable to walk on as no drainage.
I also believe that at the price they ask the electricity in summer months should be included.

A beautiful cottage in an outstanding location on the Broads and in walking distance to the shops in Wroxham. Wildlife is in abundance with swans, geese, fish, otters and a very friendly Heron. If you are thinking of fishing check that it is in season. The Property and garden is immaculate and we had a fabulous week, my only negative points are the property was very cold but blankets, a gas fire in the lounge and plug in heaters are there. Our last few days the weather was warmer and cold wasn't an issue. There also isn't any WiFi which was a problem running out of data to search up days out.
Watch the world go by with all the cruising and be ready to wave back! Boat hire is a walk away and there is lots to do in the area. Blakeney for the seals is an hour away, Cromer 30 minutes, Great Northern Railway and a few National Trust properties are worth a visit. You will not be disappointed to stay here. Thank you for sharing the property with us x
