Feb half term with friends and family, perfect location, had the pool to ourselves, great walks!!! The accommodation was a prefect layout for us, dishwasher also!!! The bed linen was spotless I have even ordered the pillows that they use, as I have never loved a pillow so much!!!

Beautiful location and grounds.

Beautiful location and grounds. Came as a group of 19. Plenty of space for us all and had everything been working we would have had a perfect trip. Dodgy electrics let the place down with dish washer, microwave, freezer and lighting all breaking down within our 4 days there. Also a big problem with flies on the top floor - hundreds of the things! Overall though, we still had an awesome trip and would probably stay again if the above was fixed.

We had a fabulous weekend at Tarka.

We had a fabulous weekend at Tarka. All of the facilities were in great order, the cottage was immaculately clean and well appointed. The owners were so helpful and welcoming. We walked directly from the cottage through child friendly walks with a good hill climb challenge to the pub. I would whole heartedly recommend the cottage and Ortfitd Mill site.
