Loved the cottage.
Loved the cottage. Will come again. Lovely place in a great location. Great pubs and restaurants within easy drive. Fab beaches and walks. Earlier reviews commented it was an old TV - obviously been replaced as it was a modern Smart TV. Kids loved the open space and watching the sheep dogs with the sheep out of the conservatory window. Excellent
The house was spotless and had everything we needed. There was a contact number on hand for the housekeeper if we needed it.A welcome pack of Bara Brith, butter and milk awaited us.The house is surprisingly spacious with a bathroom upstairs and downstairs and a downstairs loo. Two lounges and a conservatory so plenty of quiet space if we wanted. There’s lots to do locally and beautiful beaches. Sadly, the weather wasn’t perfect but we made the most of the wood burner. I wouldn’t book through VRBO again due to difficulties getting the access code, booking the place etc. Go with cottages.com instead who helped me out

situated down a lovely quiet lane with scenic views of open fields and bay.
situated down a lovely quiet lane with scenic views of open fields and bay. The premises was clean tidy and modern bathrooms. Kitchen well equipped and all conventional kitchen appliances including microwave and dishwasher. An ideal location for visiting Anglesey and mainland N. Wales (Snowdonia and Conwyn/ Colwyn bay areas. Homely quiet , peaceful and comfortable. Some very minor maintenance issues but nothing that would affect having a great holiday or health and hygiene .

Our4th visit to Grey Cottage and more improvements have been made.
Our4th visit to Grey Cottage and more improvements have been made. All very clean and comfortable with everything to hand. The views from the cottage are magnificent and access to the beach is a short walk down the hill. Dog owners will find the front garden reasonably secure but need to check round before letting dogs loose we had sheep in the garden one morning, back patio is completely safe. For cold nights there is a wood burner but you need to get your own logs, the central heating is excellent however. Lots of things to do around the island and on the mainland for adults and children, plenty of beaches to explore and adventure parks.

We were a party of 4 adults 2 children and a small dog, and can confidently say the space at Grey Cottage has been well thought out and spacious. Very comfortable and homely.
My only (very small) issue was the photo of the front of the cottage was a little misleading as it doesn't represent accurately the slope that is there.
The beach is very close and great for smaller children; a small drive will take you to an array of beaches that will suit all.
We had a lovely time and would not hesitate to recommend this cottage.

We had a lovely time at this cottage.
We had a lovely time at this cottage. It’s in a lovely peaceful location with a great outlook. It is great for walking and if timed right, with the tides, you can walk around the bay. There is a pub within a mile in which we found the staff to be great and the food excellent. We plan to stay here again and that’s the best recommendation we can give.

Grey Cottage was very clean, and well set out.
Grey Cottage was very clean, and well set out. The road on which it is placed looks very quiet but has a number of vehicles going to the beach and other local houses. There was a good deal of information available.

Grey Cottage is down a narrow lane that heads to the beach - the views from the cottage are fabulous
Grey Cottage is down a narrow lane that heads to the beach - the views from the cottage are fabulous. We did find the layout a little strange - knocking through from the 'snug' into the lounge would make it much better. However, the cottage is well equipped but the addition of blinds in the bathroom and the dining area in the kitchen would be helpful. A little TLC is needed in the outside areas. Saying all this, we had a wonderful week here blessed with lovely sunshine and were out everyday. The petrol station in the village has a well-stocked mini supermarket.
