The log cabin was clean, warm and cosy, we watch the birds every morning coming to feed on the feeders. It had the bonus of free WiFi and a full sky package. We didn’t have to travel far for lovely walks around the glen. The owner called twice to make sure we everything was ok especially after a big storm, overall it was a very relaxing holiday

Nice and cozy, well equipped and clean on arrival

This is a truly perfect place to stay.
This is a truly perfect place to stay. We visited for a week and would have loved to stay longer. The cottage, and the incredible garden / grounds were a haven for us.
We enjoyed peace, calm and rest on our stay and will absolutely definitely completely be back.
We cannot praise this place enough.

Really nice cosy little cabin in a lovely location.
Really nice cosy little cabin in a lovely location. Clean and tidy and comfortable. Please note though that there really is no washing machine. There is also hardly any storage. If, like us, you’d travelled a long way to get there and, having booked it before you read the reviews about no washing machine, taken a lot of clothes, there’s nowhere to put them. Especially in the small twin room. There is one curtained-off area but by the time you’ve put your cases away there’s not a lot of room left. My little girls literally had their new holiday clothes piled up on the tiny floor space. There is a wooden desk that is fixed to the wall, for some reason, which can’t be moved out of the way. The owners need to consider bunk beds in such a small room, so there’s space for a chest of drawers.
This cottage is perfect if you like walking. I wish we could have taken the dog but with all the extra stuff we had to pack there was no room for him, sadly. There’s a fantastic garden, must be over an acre, and it’s securely fenced so perfect for dogs. Walking is just about all you can do as it’s miles from any amenities. We had to drive at least twenty minutes to find a supermarket. I appreciate it’s rural but it’s really rural! There is apparently a good farm shop down the road but we didn’t find it in time.
If I had gone with out the kids and taken the dog instead, it would have been perfect!
