Couples will love this modern apartment just 500 yards from the beach, and enjoying sea views from the living/dining room.. All on the First Floor:

Deja Blue is a very spacious first floor apartment in the centre of Filey, perfect for couples. Decorated and furnished to a very good standard the property is in a quiet area and overlooks the church opposite. From the living/dining room there is a sea view and it’s a lovely place to sit and watch the world go by. Just around the corner you have all the local shops, bank and post office as well as several restaurants and bars. It’s just a short stroll down to the beach with miles of golden sands. When the tide is out you can walk for at least 3 miles along the shores. Alternatively you can look around the beautiful Crescent Gardens, which overlook Filey Bay and are only 100 yards from the property. For those of you who enjoy the great outdoors the Cleveland Way ends in Filey so you can track back and walk some of the Cleveland Way along the clifftops. Along the coast you can see the chalk cliffs of Flamborough Head where the RSPB bird sanctuary is one of the most popular visitor sites. Here you can see puffins in their natural habitat. The larger resort of Scarborough is further north and just a short drive from the property. Inland you can discover the North Yorkshire Moors, the rolling hills of the Yorkshire Wolds, or the historic city of York. Beach 500 yards. Shop and restaurant 100 yards, pub 150 yards.

Very nice flat, well equipped, in a good position for shops, restaurants.Near sea front, good position for getting around the resort. Only drawback was lack of information about heating system. We had 2 evenings and 2 mornings when we couldn’t get the heating to work. We would consider a return visit.

Excellent location for beach and town - so glad that there were no artificial perfumes in laundry or diffusers etc (they give me headaches) and comfy, long-enough bed (am tall). We enjoyed having an oven for baking (bread!) and a dishwasher, and plenty of assorted pans and dishes! Nice decor, not over the top - a friendly place - thank you. (just one little thing that could easily be remedied - on arrival we were confused by two of the key-safes being either side of the B and tried the wrong one first!) A beautiful big apartment in a convenient but quiet part of the town.Not quite the sea view we thought but close enough to the beach in any case. Everything we needed was in the apartment i.e. tea bags, sugar, salt and pepper plus all cleaning equipment and products. Everything was labelled with directions on how to use or not to use! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will certainly book again. Thanks to the owners for such a lovely place to stay. A special delight were the Christmas decorations - beautiful.

The only downside for this flat was the walk in shower.

The only downside for this flat was the walk in shower. The shower arm and shower head are too big for the size of the shower cubicle. Hence when you open shower doors you get water spilling out onto the floor.

Very clean, a very central position for beach, shops and pubs.

Very clean, a very central position for beach, shops and pubs. The only downside of the property is the parking it is very hit and miss outside the property. The only problem we had was the fire alarm which went of at 4.30 in the morning and then every 20-30 minutes after that until about 7 in the morning, the problem was sorted out very quickly when it was reported but we couldn’t report it till 9am when the office opened. No emergency phone number to ring.

The apartment was excellent.

The apartment was excellent. It had everything that we needed for a short break and much more besides. The property was larger than we had expected, extremely well maintained and had wonderful ‘seaside’ touches wherever we looked, for example a lighthouse light pull. Filey is a lovely base from which to venture further afield while also offering excellent places to walk. The gardens in Filey are exceptionally well maintained.

My wife and I have been coming to Filey most years since 2001 as we both holidayed here as children

My wife and I have been coming to Filey most years since 2001 as we both holidayed here as children and are always looking for new places to stay. The location is fantastic - although you are in the centre of town, you are far enough away from the shops and pubs so at night it is very quiet. The flat is immaculate and well stocked with plates, utensils, cups etc, the only thing I would say that lets it down slightly is the tempramental wifi which takes turns going on and off so you have to change between the main hub and the extender which takes a few minutes. You are less than 2 minutes from the main shops and about 5 to Tesco. You can be on the seafront in a couple of minutes as well. The bus station is right in front of Tesco and the train station is a minute or so further along the same road. As long as your're not the kind of person that must have your car right outside your home then you'll be ok. The streets are busy with visitors to the town, especially during the summer and school holidays but you can usually find a spot relatively nearby. We will no doubt be back next year and if available would most likely book this property again

Very well refurbished apartment, very comfortable. For not so fit, first floor not so good for taking up luggage, long walk from lounge to bedroom! Having said that we enjoyed our stay.
