A wonderful stay.
A wonderful stay. Everything was perfect from the comfort of the cottage to the great location near to the sea with great views from the lounge. Bernie was extremely helpful and always available if we needed any assistance. The icing on the cake was the lovely bottle of Prosecco and box of chocs left for us which we duly consumed! Thanks to Bernie and Tracey. We would certainly recommend this to anyone wishing to spend a few days in this beautiful and rugged part of the UK. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Another great holiday at Stanhope Cottage, this was our 10th visit so that probably says it all.
Another great holiday at Stanhope Cottage, this was our 10th visit so that probably says it all. A real home from home but with a far better view. Great to have such a good network of footpaths right on the doorstep. A very comfortable cottage and beautifully clean and with a lovely garden to sit in if you get the weather. This is proper Cornwall at it's best.
This is proper Cornwall at it's best. A little remote for some maybe. Amazing views and very peaceful with an abundance of wildlife. I have returned 4 times and absolutely love it. Ideal for coastal walking but car required for further exploring. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We had a lovely week at Stanhope cottage. It benefits from having the living rooms upstairs and a wonderful panoramic view out to sea. The garden is great too and very private, with seating areas and attractive landscaping. Our hosts Bernie and Tracey were very pleasant and helpful too. Highly recommended! Absolutely stunning location and the cottage was immaculate. Tracey and Bernie could not do more to welcome us or help us. My children said it was the best holiday cottage they had stayed in and loved the garden and outdoor space. We had everything we needed at Stanhope. Please pass on compliments to the owners. Once again a lovely stay at Stanhope Cottage.
Once again a lovely stay at Stanhope Cottage. It is spotlessly clean and there is everything you need in the cottage for a comfortable stay. Amazing views to the coastal path from the cottage and plenty of walking straight from the cottage. Tracey and Bernie are wonderful hosts. Looking forward to our stay next year.

This is the perfect cottage if you’re looking for marvellous views, peace and quiet and excellent comfort. Tracy, our host was very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The cottage has everything we needed for a self catering stay. It is warm, spotlessly clean and modern in decor. It is located a few yards from the South West Way, and the National Trust Levant Mine. A must for walkers. Because there no street lights the view of the stars is amazing. There is a Costcutter in the village, but a 30 minute drive into Penzance provides a choice of the thee national supermarkets. There a three pubs in the village, and another a lovely 30 minute walk along the coastal path to Botallack. Would recommend this accommodation very highly.

We had a fabulous time at Stanhope cottage.
We had a fabulous time at Stanhope cottage. Tracey and Bernie made us feel extremely welcome. The Prosecco, cream teas and lovely flowers were a nice touch. The house and garden is beautiful. Everything you need is there and the views are amazing. The only thing I didn’t like was the memory foam mattress , but that is just personal preference. Tracey and Bernie were always on hand if we needed anything and would check we were Ok if they saw us ( they live next door). We went to St Michaels Mount which is a must and we had a go on the sky wire at the Eden Project which was an experience. The fish and chip shop in Pendeen (Lil,s) is scrumptious. Mousehole was very quant and the ice cream there was lovely. We also went to the Minack theatre which we enjoyed. We had a trip to Land’s End where the scenery was outstanding. Overall we had a fantastic holiday at Stanhope cottage and hope to return next year. ?

An excellent cottage with lovely views.
An excellent cottage with lovely views. Owners on hand if you need them but also very sensitive to your privacy. The cream tea on arrival was a lovely touch and really appreciated after a long journey. There are obviously many repeat guests-and for good reason. We will also be returning.
