This was a fabulous property in a great location. The house is pet friendly (although we didn’t have our dog), and is well equipped, well decorated and comfortable throughout. Its location outside York in a small, quiet village is perfect. 15 minutes to park and ride for York, 10 minutes to supermarkets and restaurants and 2 minutes to Castle Howard. The village has a great pub and a fabulous deli/cafe. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely stay at Sunny Cottage from the start of booking we had excellent support and information from Emily. On arrival the cottage has the wow factor, spotless, well equipped, extensive information and instructions available. The garden is beautiful and fully enclosed which was great for our dog, Archie. A top class pub and wonderful deli on the doorstep. Great location for exploring, we especially enjoyed the James Herriot trail through the dales and lovely villages leading to Grassington. Malton the nearby town has lots of bespoke gift shops and Many good places to eat and supermarkets for food shopping. We will definitely visit again. Thank you Emily for all your help and welcome hamper.
