La grange neuve 3 étoiles, at the foot of Montségur castle, facing south
Charming cottage renovated in the country style where we find the timeless charm of stone and wood. The large lounge, very friendly and intimate, is perfect for enjoying an evening around the fireplace after a day of skiing, for example (ski resort 15 kms away). Another pleasure is that of having breakfast on the terrace with the surrounding mountains in the background. A mountain path starts from the gîte and will take you to discover the castle of Montségur, a remarkable site.

Electric heating fireplace, and Scandinavian double combustion stove. Terrace, enclosed garden, parking, garden furniture, barbecue deckchair.

Un pur havre de paix .
Juste après Montfferier, la route qui y mène est étroite . Arrivés sur place un tout petit hameau, le goudron s'arrête le chemin chemine entre les vallons arborés..au loin sur son pog on devine Montségur..Accueil d'une rare gentillesse du couple qui a rénové avec beaucoup de goût cette vieille ferme de famille . Les photos parlent d'elles même, c'est charmant, reposant, très bien équipé. Terrasse sur jardin vert et frais,chevaux pâturant en face...un silence..juste le vent . Quel plaisir..!! Bien positionné pour la visite incontournable de Montségur...ça grimpe pas mal..et la descente eut être glissante si on est mal chaussé..Là haut chacun y va pour des raisons différentes..tourisme ou autre chose de plus profond..Surtout ne pas rater la visite avec le guide archéologue passionnant et passionné..Pas loin la citée médiévale de Mirepoix, le lundi c'est le marché..toute l'Ariège y est plus les touristes..les autres jours c'est plus calme, jolies maisons à colombages..Ne pas rater la rivière souterraine de Labouïche...plus des quantités d'autres choses..En résumé ce gite est idéal pour découvrir cette belle région et les propriétaires ne manquent pas de conseils judicieux.
