I am a proud Toledo native and Navy veteran, having served as a Nuclear Weapons Technician—a role that granted me the incredible opportunity to explore many countries. Yet, no matter how far I traveled, I always found my way back to the genuine community and four-season beauty of my Midwest home.
Following my honorable discharge, I pursued higher education, earning a Business degree in Real Estate from the University of Toledo and completing Commercial Pilot training at Bowling Green State University. While I never flew commercially, I cherish my life as a private pilot, exploring wherever life leads. I then embarked on a second career, first working on my family’s farm and eventually owning my own garden center, where I led a team of 18. After selling the business to a commercial developer, I reinvented myself once more as life circumstances evolved.
I retired in 2022 and decided to begin a new, purposeful chapter. I returned to school as an adult and became a Licensed Massage Therapist, a profession that allows me to help others manage stress and alleviate pain while granting the flexibility to continue my travels—I’ve now visited over 54 countries and counting. My deep connection to the Great Lakes also inspired a personal venture: in 2020, I purchased Fisher Island, a private retreat in Lake Huron’s Whitney Bay near Drummond Island, Michigan. It features a classic 1950s cabin and an authentic tipi, with plans to someday welcome guests to this secluded paradise.
My life is fueled by the water—whether fishing, boating, or scuba diving—and I bring that same spirit of adventure and hospitality to everything I do. I am committed to ensuring your experience is not just pleasant, but truly memorable.
