Our newly renovated villa is a spacious 2-bedroom, 2-bath unit situated in the Villas de Oro community at Palmilla. The unit is located on the top floor and features a large wrap around deck complete with outdoor furnishings which is perfect for dining al fresco, outdoor entertaining, enjoying the ocean breeze and watching the beautiful Baja sunsets. In this unit, you’ll enjoy the elevated ceilings and massive windows that serve to enhance the picturesque views of the mountains and the ocean.

The villa is fully furnished in a tasteful style to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances including a double door refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, sink, stove with oven, breakfast bar with seating for four, coffee maker, blender and much more. You can enjoy your meals in a roomy dining area that comfortably sits 6-8 people. The inviting living room with a large comfortable pull-out sofa bed, accent chairs, coffee table, 65" Smart TV and DVD player is perfect to settle in for a relaxing time. Get a restful good night’s sleep in one of the two bedrooms, both of which come with their own separate bathroom. The master bedroom features a king size bed, walk in closet and a mirrored dresser. You can enjoy double sinks, a large soaking tub and open walk-in shower as well as a linen closet and a dresser in a large and airy master bathroom. The 2nd bedroom includes a king size bed, dresser and LCD TV with DVD. The 2nd bathroom also features double sinks and open bright walk in shower. Additional amenities for your stay such as sheets, towels and cooking utensils are all provided. The villa has zoned central heat and air conditioning as well as a separate laundry room with a washer and dryer to serve your needs.

Great lay out and location

Freshly updated kitchen and furnishings complete the package of this easy access prime location. Great for walks, beach, pool and city access etc Responsive hosts and property manager.

Good value

Things were good there. The only thing I would note is that the TV is old so cannot support Netflix, Disney plus, Amazon, etc., so it’s wasn’t any good for our kids. The manager was great to deal with and was helpful.

Palmilla experience

Average location of a dated unit. Several mechanical items did not work property including the safe which took three days to get opened and retrieve out passports with only several hours to spare. Too much anxiety.

Tired interior with much needed updates in a beautiful community

We had a great time at Palmilla because our family lives nearby.The community is beautiful and very quiet and peaceful. The interior of this unit needs updating very badly. The sofa is very uncomfortable and stained. The wifi is weak and will not support Netflix, however Hulu and Prime load easily, the TV is rather small but adequate. Live TV news and sports fade in and out with buffering due to weak wifi. The kitchen sink is stained and rather grungy, cabinet interiors are sticky and dirty (I cleaned them myself), pots and pans are OLD and scratched, cabinets doors do not stay closed and have no hardware. Bathrooms are at least 20 years old and shower pressure is weak and shower floors are slippery. The bath mats were filthy so we used old towels and washed them. Beds are comfy and linens are plentiful. Washer/dryer work great and AC is controlled at 73 degrees and so noisy that it disturbs the downstairs tenant who came up to ask us to please set the AC to auto as the tremors are shaking his roof making sleep impossible. The AC system is very old and needs replacement but it does work. We stayed in Dec and the breezes are wonderful from the 3rd floor so we were nice and cool. Next door neighbor smokes most of the day and night and require you to close most windows to avoid horrible smoke inhalation. Carlos the Property Manger is wonderful and he came to spray for the bugs on the kitchen and bath counters. We left this unit much cleaner than we found it despite paying for a substantial cleaning fee. If this unit is upgraded, I would stay again.

I have stayed in Palmilla with my sister at the end of May. I found the villa really spacious and beautifully furnished with an absolutely gorgeous view from the balcony. In the kitchen we could find everything you need for cooking. We went to the Palmilla beach every day as it is very close to the villa. Palmilla beach is a perfect sandy beach, which is great for both swimming and hiking. In the evening we would go to the villa swimming pool hidden in the palms with an amazing view. There is also a smaller swimming pool for children, so I think it is a perfect choice for families with little kids too. We loved Mexican cuisine, which you could try at one of the San Jose del Cabo restaurants! A large grocery store is just 10-minute drive from the villa and another one in walking distance at Palmilla shoppes. Very close to Palmilla there is also a place where you can swim with dolphins! It was such an emotional and unforgettable experience! To make the story short, there is only one word to describe my vacation in Palmilla - PARADISE.

We stayed in Val's apartment for a week and loved it! We could walk down to the Shops at Palmilla for the grocery or restaurants. The security was fabulous. And the unit is very light and well appointed. We will definitely be back!! Thanks Val!!!

Lovely property in upscale location

Thank you Val for the use of your home in Palmilla we had an amazing time. The entire rental process was seamless. We used the pool, 100ft from the front door, often. Usually had it all to ourselves. King bed was comfortable and kitchen, some upgraded appliances, had everything we needed. The washer dryer in the condo was an welcome asset. The water in Palmilla is triple filtered so being able to drink and use ice straight from the fridge was very convenient. Other trips we are constantly replacing water bottles and having to lift them onto their stand. There is no Satellite or cable tv but the Apple TV allowed us to catch news, watch YouTube and binge watch a lot of Netflix, great for nights in. We spent 5 weeks exploring the.entire tip of the Baja end to end. Los Barriles and Tosos Santos are great day trips. Be sure to try Smokey’s for lunch and catch the local gossip. The beaches in Los Barriles are beautiful. Back on the San Jose Del Cabo side a lot of new condo construction going on which is changing the seclusion of some beaches like Santa Maria but it wasn’t really isn’t a great swimming beach. Palmilla and Chilano are the best for swimming and people watching. There are far to many good restaurant in the area to list. Yelp is a great resource. We highly recommend Palmilla 102 for a base for exploring Lands End.

A perfect place for an extended escape and surround yourself in a beautiful atmosphere. Villa del Oro at Pamilla served as an ideal location for visiting San Jose del Cabo & Cabo San Lucas. As a second level unit with fantastic views, stair climbing is required. The pictures and discussion of prior visitors are very accurate of this wonderful unit. Would we stay here again? YES!!! and have booked for next year.

Amazing villa with gorgeous views

We have vacationed in Palmilla with our 11 month old son at the end of October. Upon arrival, I was very impressed with how spacious and well-furnished the villa was. There is a very large master bedroom with a bathroom, a second bedroom with a bathroom and a sizable open living room and kitchen. The property was very clean and equipped with all the amenities that we needed for a comfortable stay including new top brand stainless steel appliances, plenty of towels and kitchen dishware. The outdoor wrap around deck was amazing with gorgeous sunset and sunrise views. We would have all our meals on the deck enjoying the wonderful scenery. The Palmilla beach is only 5 min drive away and we enjoyed swimming and walking there. The villa property grounds also have a very nice large pool as well as a smaller kiddie pool adjacent to it which was perfect for our little son. We had a lot of fun exploring the San Jose del Cabo area that has some truly awesome restaurants!! We are recommending this property to our friends and we will be back for our next vacation!

Great location. Could use some updating.

The property is really 3rd floor as the bottom floor is a garage so be prepared to haul your luggage up three flights of stairs. The property overall is very good. A couple of items could use attention. We would stay there again.

Amazing property with a spectacular view! One of our best winter holidays!

We are a couple from Canada who stayed at the condo for 2 months , i.e. from mid -January to mid-March . The weather was perfect, no humidity, pleasant and sunny every day, except once when it rained, during our whole stay. The complex is in a gated community, very safe and is beautifully landscaped with a great swimming pool/jacuzzi. As for the condo itself, it is furnished with taste and has a large furnished patio with a gas BBQ. The view is spectacular: looking over a golf course and mountains. A rented car is preferable for sightseeing and groceries (there is a Costco , Walmart and a few large Mexican food stores in the vicinity) although a modern shopping centre is only 5 minutes away. The town of San Jose del Cabo is a very attractive Mexican town with great souvenir shops, restaurants and art galleries. A must is to go to the Flora Farm Restaurant. We would suggest also to visit the surrounding towns of: Cabo San Lucas, Todos Santos and Los Barriles. Dealings with the owner were very pleasant and professional. The property manager was also very cooperative and friendly. All in all, we are planning to come back , as it was one of our best winter holidays ! Cheers, Eileen & Roy

Amazing property, wonderful location

This place is an absolute gem! We had been to Cabo several times before, but this vacation was definitely our favorite. My husband and I stayed at Villas de Oro for five days and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. The unit is quite spacious and well furnished. We loved the wrap around deck with an awesome view perfect for enjoying our nightly cocktails with the ocean breeze! The bedroom was really comfortable with a large king size bed. I was very impressed with the huge master bathroom with a large tub and a walk in shower. If you have children or additional travel companions, the unit also has another bedroom and a separate bathroom so it’s perfect for a larger group. There is an awesome pool on the property; it’s really large and most of the time, we had the entire pool and the Jacuzzi all to ourselves! The Palmilla beach nearby is amazing, the water is so lovely and inviting and it does not have the crazy crowds like other beaches. We spent most of our time there and it’s so close to the condo which is definite plus. We had a rental car and getting around was super easy from that location, it’s a really short drive to San Jose del Cabo and a little longer trip to Cabo San Lucas. When we didn’t feel like driving, we just walked over to the Palmilla complex which has a nice selection of restaurants. It was such a great trip and we are definitely coming back to the same place next year!!

Great time in Cabo

What a treat our trip to Mexico turned out to be. Beautiful beaches, an amazing golf course, and truly wonderful accommodations all made this lovely villa a delightful get-away. The condo was large with central air conditioning that made it very comfortable on the hottest summer days. The deck is great and has nice views of the ocean, the mountains and the famous Jack Nicklaus golf course. My wife and I enjoyed the large living room where we could kick back at the end of the day and watch our favorite movie. The fully equipped kitchen and a washer/dryer within the unit were very convenient. I really enjoyed the Palmilla beach, it’s gorgeous, perfect for swimming and lounging and such a nice break from the tourist packed Medano. The location of the villa is superb. Palmilla is an upscale, safe neighborhood with nice restaurants, great bakeries, shopping, outdoor entertainment events, etc. We can’t wait to return there again.
