We had a great time at this cabin in Big Bear. There was plenty of space for sleeping, eating, and lounging. the kitchen was well equipped and the hot tub was a great way to end fun days on the lake. Would definitely stay here again.
This was a great place to stay in the snow! Flat driveway, big sledding hill in the back yard, and spacious rooms. We'll definitely rent again.

Great location!
We loved the location. House needs some interior upgrading and cleanliness was marginal (ie. mold in shower, haphazard kitchen). Enjoyed the hot tub (in spite of many broken jets) and also wood-burning fireplace.

Hi Emily. We thank you so much for staying with us. We were surprised to read your review. We reached out to you during your staying. You did not mention any issues. We have an amazing cabin with a great game room and we did update many features, including the kitchen and bathrooms. Not sure where you saw mold but we did take a look because we take that very seriously and we do not see any mold Again if you’re ever back, please always reach out we are local and can address any situation or issue.
Very clean and nice cabin! Plenty of space. If you plan to cook much bring your own tin foil and the inga like that but otherwise there’s plenty of utensils and pots and pans. We were very happy with this stay!
Our trip to Big Bear was a very special occasion for our family so the bar was high.
The cabin is cozy but with plenty of room for 8 of us. It is very well appointed - we had everything we needed for our stay.
The fireplace and hot tub were great after skiing. The kitchen has everything we could want. And the proximity to the slopes was a lifesaver.
The property management company was exceptionally friendly and responsive.
We really could not ask for a better experience.
Thank you!!
The house was nice and cozy. The place provided what we needed. Just double check yourself if everything is ready for use. The jacuzzi was not ready because it was dirty.. Coffeemaker wasn't clean the old filter was still there. But overall experience was great.. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We enjoyed our stay. Location was close to the Ski Resort. We will definitely go back there.

We thank you for staying with us and being wonderful guests. Please if you ever have any concerns while staying with us we are local and can respond immediately. We appreciate your 5 star review. We were not aware you had an issue with the spa. If leaves and debris get inside the relaxing spa please call us we will come immediately to clean spa. Besides our pride on how clean the cabin is presented we also pride ourselves on the relaxing spa. Again if a situation arrises we will respond immediately. We hope to have you back again.
Usually the hosts are in direct contact w guests and make sure all is well. This host did not want to hear ANY reports whatsoever and ghosted us after day 1 for all 4 days until check out.I offered to send him videos when he asked us if we are enjoying our 5star experience. We assume he has not been to the cabin for YEARS as it is a very run down poorly maintained unit. NO heat in the master, NO hangers in the closets ( broken bars too), dirty chipped surroundings, SMELLY sheets & pillows ( bedding for sure was not washed prior to arrival ) NO extra sheets to use the sofa to sleep either. Ladder to top bunk BROKEN. NO trash cans in 2 bathrooms.Toaster BROKEN. Game table NO parts to enjoy the games( roulet) and Bsktball hoop broken. Jets BROKEN in spa. The steps to door are all falling apart -someone WILL fall soon BEWARE. Old baby gates at top &bottom of steps which means constant swinging/locking annoyance. All pans are scratched and risky. NO sharp knives. Utensil drawer is a massive pile of random stuff. Broken towel holder in one bthrm, broken ceiling heater in master bathroom.I have been coming to BBear for 25 yrs and rented every cabin type there is.This was the priciest and worst experience yet.If the host cared and communicated it would have felt less lousy maybe. ALL very simple fixes but clearly they do not care. It seems like they had a 500 budget and went to salvation army to outfit the entire place about a decade ago and never came back to see how it is going.
nice big house , room for the whole family. easy access to snow summit and main street activities. only complaint was we had to go buy propane for the barbeque.
Very nice cabin for family with kids. The host is very kind. Cabin is generally pretty clean. A few hairs were found on the sheets, if I have to be picky. Lots of utensils in the kitchen. An imperfection is that we did not see the video game in kids' room. In general, we enjoyed our stay very much.
The property was perfect for our family spring break vacation. The check-in process was welcoming and efficient. The property is warm, clean, and just as advertised - kids loved it, and was relaxing for the adults. The zoo was very close by, which the kids loved. We even got a spring snowstorm, therefore the kids loved playing in the snow outdoors as well as spending time indoors playing Pacman or watching kid shows off Roku. Bathrooms were clean, and well-stocked with starter supplies, and the kitchen had everything we needed for making meals. My kids were sad to leave, they enjoyed the stay so much. Thank you!
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Three bedrooms and three full baths with showers. There were small shampoo and conditioner bottles in each bathroom. Every bedroom had a tv and the living room had a tv also. My kids loved that. Fireplace and hot tub. Great location. Sleds in the backyard to use. Wonderful house to stay in.
The property was generally nice. It is a standard big bear cabin. The location was a long but reasonable walk from the Alpine Zoo and a nice donut shop. My toddler had a ton of fun in the backyard.
There were a few points of concern.
First, the online listing showed 2 king sized beds. This is incorrect. There is 1 king bed and 1 queen bed. This was disappointing given that we had two couples and we selected this property because we could get both couples a king bed.
The kitchen set up is also poorly thought out. There were a bizarre assortment of kitchen tools but it was lacking basics like cookie sheets, dish soap, and sponges. A lot of the kitchen supplies also need to be replaced. I'm pretty uncomfortable using a scratched up non-stick pan of unknown providence.
Nice house but needs permanent gates over stairs for baby - accommodations as high chair and play pen provided - snowed A LOT during our stay and owner had area cleared without requesting! Fenced yard was a plus! Kitchen stocked well - we will return
It was very comfortable and mostly clean, except for a few minor issues. There was a plumbing problem in one of the bathrooms downstairs and the management co. sent a plumber right away.
Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at this beautiful cabin!
We just got home and were sad to leave. Will have to plan a longer trip next time. Perfect location for accessing Bear Mountain Ski Resort. Pictures and description of cabin were completely accurate. Have just about everything we needed and owner was very accommodating. Thank you!
I highly recommend sipping your coffee first thing in the morning on the upper deck. If you're quiet, enjoy the steam from the hot tub in the cold evenings. Definitely coming back.
This was a gift for my daughter. A quick get away from working and 2020 issues. A boost to everyone’s morale before the new virtual school year. Even the dogs had fun hiking and swimming. Would rent again! Everything was perfect.
