Traditional 18th Century Stone Built Scottish Cottage Close To The High Street
Lazydays is a traditional 18th Century stone built 2 bedroom cottage located in the centre of Moffat close to both the High Street and the peaceful riverside. The cottage is less than 2 minutes walk from an array of local shops, pubs, restaurants and amenities.
Moffat offers an array of activities including hill walking, cycling, fishing and golf.
Moffat is ideally situated, being 2 minutes drive from Junction 15 of the M74 and is conveniently located for exploring the Scottish Borders and the Lake District, as well as visiting Glasgow and Edinburgh which are approximately 1 hours drive away.
The cottage is fully equipped with gas central heating and hot water, modern kitchen with fridge, fan assisted oven, hob, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board.
A separate living room with colour television, DVD player and Freeview provides a peaceful area to relax in. There is also a dining room with table and seating for 4 people.
Free WiFi is also provided.
On the first floor there are two cosy bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other a twin room with two single beds. There is also a separate family bathroom with bath and shower.
All bed linen and towels are provided.
Parking is available to the front and at the rear of cottage and there is also free parking in the High Street.
The cottage is a non-smoking property.
Well behaved/housetrained dogs are very welcome. Please be aware the cottage has no garden, however, the riverside is a 5 minute walk and is a popular area for dog-walking.
PLEASE NOTE: because it is a traditional cottage the stairs are steep with a half landing from bedrooms to bathroom. Care must be taken at all times when existing these rooms. This may cause a problem for anyone with limited mobility, the elderly or families with very young children. The bedrooms have sloping ceilings, a common feature of traditional Scottish cottages, which results in reduced headroom (be aware if you are very tall!)

Lazydays is a really lovely cottage down a side street (parking outside no problems at all). It's a minutes walk to the main street with lots of choices to eat and some nice walks. Great communication from the owner. Definitely recommended !
This is our second visit and it was just as good as the first , with everything you need and the correspondence prior to the visit from the owner is always much appreciated . We will definitely stay again when we next come up to see family.
Immaculate cottage, comfortable and we'll equipped. Lovely walks from the door and some fantastic places to eat and drink within a short distance. Absolutely loved our stay and can't wait to come back again.
Lovely cottage, modern throughout, clean, literally everything you need to cook any meal. Brilliant power shower and had the best night sleep I have had in months. Would definitely stay again! Great location to explore Dumfries and Galloway, the borders and a easy drive up to Edinburgh or Glasgow.
