About the host

I grew up in the village on a farm and moved a few hundred metres down the road in 1995 when I got married to where we live now. My parents sold the farm nearly 20 years ago and it is now Chariots of Fire Driving Centre.

Why they chose this property

The property belonged to my family until the 1970s. I have lived in the village all my life. We purchased the neighbouring property in 1994 before we got married and I wanted one day to buy the cottage back. We did this in 2015 and took 2 years to completely renovate the cottage ready to let as a self catering holiday home.

What makes this property unique

Stunning views, peaceful riverside location, central to many attractions and activities, only 10 minutes from the M74 and train station.
