The cottage can sleep 4 people 1 King-Size, en-suite, and one twin en-suite. The rest of the cottage is made up of a fitted kitchen, and a large open plan Sitting dining room with feature fire place. To the outside of the cottage is a rear courtyard, Anchor cottage is perfectly placed for enjoying the harbourside in Weymouth. Note: CCTV recording for the prevention of crime is in operation in the entrance vestibule of this property. Further information is available on request from the owner. Please note: There is a Good Housekeeping Bond of £250 on this property. One parking permit available for Zone L road side parking (subject to availability) until 1st March 2026. Note: If you would like Bedroom 2 made up as a king size bed, please let us know at booking so this can be arranged. Note: Fayre In The Square (usually late May Bank Holiday weekend each year) and Wessex Folk Festival (usually first weekend of Jun each year, and the Seafood Festival (usually a weekend in July). These fantastic free festivals see the harbour and Hope Square closed to traffic. With live music, entertainment and stalls throughout the weekend. Town: This thriving area called Brewers Quay is the old Victorian brewery situated right at the very heart of the harbour, in Weymouth, Dorset. Much of the grade II listed complex and surrounding brewery buildings date from the late 1800 early 1900’s and many have stones inlaid commemorating their construction year. Now a popular destination with many restaurant’s café and bars making it a vibrant location where you can relax with a drink and watch the world go by. Tucked in the harbourside streets here you will find original Tudor harbour buildings estimated to have built 1600 and well worth a visit, with a very interesting history to share. You will also find the Weymouth Museum, with some incredible facts and artefacts, there is more to this seaside town than meets the eye. The harbour is home to the lifting bridge where you can watch the luxury yachts head out to sea, and then walk over the bridge into the town with it’s winding streets of boutique shops and onto the seafront Esplanade and beach.
