Very nice apartment 150 m from Praia de Rocha beach. Sea view from the living room and the Marina for the 2 bedrooms. Two beautiful terraces to live in, one with sea view and the other with swimming pool and Marina, living room with double bedding possible, 2 bathrooms with WC, Air conditioning, WIFI, satellite TV, equipped kitchen, washing machine, Swimming pool Parking space in private garage of the residence.
The Riomar building of only 4 floors (very quiet) is locally renowned for its privileged location in the quiet area of Praia da Rocha, a short walk from the famous Praia da Rocha beach as well as the new modern marina, Fortaleza, lighthouse and boulevard. The many small shops and restaurants are also within walking distance. The building is optimally secure with a closed reception area (accessible only to residents).
There are two elevators in the building with 24 hour online service. The basement of the building contains a secure / closed garage, also accessible by elevator.

Great location to explore the Algarve region. did day trips to Faro and Lagos from here. On the quieter side of the town. Easy walk to "the strip" or old town to get dinners. Grocery store located a short distance away to walk to get groceries.Underground parking was an added bonus with this rental.

Lovely apartment with easy walking access to beach, restaurants and shopping. Great central location for touring the Algarve. We did many day trips, knowing we had a great place to come jome to! Our host was exceptional and easy to contact. Would definately stay again!

Great place, great location, great time!

Our off-season stay was wonderful! Limited crowds, resulting in easy driving and uncrowded restaurants. Restaurants, beach, sporting activities, and of course gelato are all within close walking distance. We were greeted on time, and with private parking were able to settle in quite well. This is a definite “like to return to “place on our list!

Amazing place to stay with family

Great location, quite, close to restaurants and shops, private parking is the best. Very spacious, clean and welcoming. Steps from the beach. Amazing views from both balconies. Grocery shop within 8 minutes. Good vibes and safe place. Amazing beach with things to do for kids and teens. Serfing lessons, inflatable water park, playgrounds, outdoor gym for teens. Play soccer on the beach, volleyball. We enjoyed the place a lot.

Conveniently located with a parking garage

Nice apartment conveniently located close to the beach in a quiet area but far enough from the busy hustle of the main street and activities. The easily accessible parking garage of the building saved us time and frustration trying to find a parking spot on the street. Areke, our hostess, met us and provided us all the info necessary to make our stay most enjoyable and pleasant. Restaurants, the beach, small grocery stores, and water activities are all within walking distance. Highly recommended.

Great location but

The location was excellent. We were disappointed with the furniture and carpeting. These items definitely needed to be replaced as they were quite worn out. It was also difficult to get into the building. The key to the outside of the building gave us troubles. With these changes it would make this a five star place.

A great base for Praia da Rocha

We stayed for 10 days whilst attending the Hansa Sailing Championship at the marina. The apartment had everything we needed to use as a base. The beds were very comfy, there was plenty of hot water and the balconies both had good views - the one of the marina was particularly handy! It was nice to have secure parking and the wifi was good. The kitchen is small, but it had everything we needed - we cooked in most nights. The outside of the building is being updated, which it does seem to need, but the apartment had everything we needed for our time in Portimao. Areke was incredibly helpful and flexible, and we felt comfortable to ask her for any support we needed.

Great stay in the Algarve!

The location of Algarve Riomar is the best! You are on the semi quiet side of down, but literal steps away from shops, cafes, beaches and all the things! The condo was perfect for our group, having two bathrooms was ideal. While the kitchen is small, having a washing machine and fridge was ideal for our king stay. The pool was a perfect size. While other reviews mentioned things were rundown, and I don’t disagree that the exterior could use some maintenance, overall the unit itself and location made up for minor exterior wear and tear. Areke as a property manager was amazing and could message her at any time for restaurant recommendations and bakery hotspots and she was so responsive! Can’t wait to return again!

Fantastic communication with owner and manager of apartment. The apartment was very clean and everything you may need was available, the manager was on hand at all times, including when we spotted we needed beach towels. The pool was slightly disappointing with size and maintenance. The building is 'tired' and in need of some care. However, I would return. Location was great; shops, bars, restaurants, beach and marina were in within 10 minutes walk. Food in restaurants was a great value and although we'd planned to self-cater, we ate out each day. A positive experience.

Disappointing

We stayed here in May 2023, location is good, property Manager is amazing, however, the property itself was disappointing. First off outside the apartment door is the most disturbing chair that I would just get rid of. The bed sheets definitely were not clean, there was dirt on the sheet where someones feet were. We ended up washing everything. The advertised pool was not available, we were not notified that it was not working. The whole apartment needs an update. Having said that the Manager of the property was amazing, she reached out before we arrived, she met us at the property and recommended alot to us to do while there, where to eat, where to avoid eating, where the grocery store was.

Für 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder perfekt! Lage, Meerblick, Sonnenaufgang über den Fluss wunderschön, Parkplatz sehr gut.Die Küche, obwohl prima ausgestattet, ist extrem klein, für 6 Personen dürfte die Wohnung zu eng sein.Alles in allem sehr gut, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Apartamento Praia da Rocha

Apartamento muito bem localizado, perto da praia e zona comercial, mas em área sossegada. A cozinha é pequena, mas suficiente para preparar refeições ligeiras. A limpeza geral do apartamento podia estar um pouco mais cuidada e as camas deveriam apresentar dois lençóis ( situação prontamente resolvida pela Areke, que, aliás, nos recebeu muito bem). O estacionamento privado é uma mais valia na Praia da Rocha.

L’appartement est agréable et conforme aux photos de l’annonce. Néanmoins il a un peu vieilli par rapport aux photos du site qui datent de quelques années. La cuisine et l’appartement sont entièrement équipés. De plus, il est situé dans un endroit calme à l’abri de la foule et du bruit et à seulement quelques pas de la plage. Parfait pour une famille avec enfants. Parking précieux !!!

Fabulous, spotless apartment. All communications with Christabel were prompt and helpful. The agents Areke and Antoine were so friendly and nothing was a problem. We had a lovely week in a fantastic apartment with such a stunning view in both directions. I would highly recommend.
