About this property

Spacious Townhouse Steps from the Beach in Oceanfront Property

This spacious and bright two-story town home with two bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms is located in the oceanfront Condominium Complex Seascape Sur in Solana Beach.

A generously equipped kitchen, living room with fire place, a patio with seating area and city views make for a comfortable and relaxing vacation. Washer, dryer, iron and ironing board are located inside the unit.

The unit doesn't have air conditioning. Floor fans are available in each bedrooms and in the living areas. The bedrooms are located downstairs and stay relatively cool in summer. Heating in winter is limited to 72dF. Space heaters or other heating devices are not permitted due to fire hazards. Additional blankets and pillows are available.

A short walk through the complex leads you to the beach. Two heated pools, whirl pools, tennis courts and a clubhouse are available for your enjoyment, but may be closed on short notice due to repairs or events. One car can be parked on the property in a secured underground car port.

The condominium complex is located right at the beach.

Shopping, restaurants, the Del Mar racetrack, golf courses and public transportation are all in walking distance.

The condominium complex is located on a bluff. Garages are underground and access to all units requires some walking through the property. Access to my house requires climbing 2 to 3 flights of stairs from the garage, same from the street. Access to the beach is through a gate at the beach end of the complex down the bluff via a public staircase with several flights of stairs.

Solana Beach Adventure

Unit was well furnished and very clean. Local contact person was extremely helpful. Keep in mind that this condo is located on a bluff and so there are lots of stairs to climb up and down. We certainly got our steps in!

Great proximity to beach. A very continuous musty, moldy smell on lower level. Coffee was a nice touch and Miriam was so helpful and accommodating. I would not recommend this units location for any guest, who has mobility issues. Many stairs to underground parking and/or street. Very clean and well equipped. Wash cloths would be nice.

Perfect location and Very Comfortable Home

This property is exactly as described in the profile. The location is great - steps from a very nice beach, steps from surf shops and restaurants. Getting around to Del Mar and Encinitas is quick and easy (no need to get on the 5). The house is spacious and comfortable (especially the bed in the primary bedroom). Air conditioning would be a nice plus, but even during a San Diego heatwave, it was cool enough to sleep comfortably. The owner and others involved in hosting were outstanding. We will definitely look to book here again.

Comfy home away from home

This townhouse is located a short walk away from the beautiful bluffs of Solana Beach, and a few more steps away from the beach itself. Nicely kept cluster of homes, with two pools and whirlpools and beautiful gardens with a stunning array of flowers (we were there in spring). Across the street we found a nice coffee shop for morning breakfast in the sun. The location worked well for us: it’s a 20 minute drive to La Jolla or a little longer to San Diego, Coronado etc. The owner was very responsive and helpful. The house itself has one large MBR suite and a smaller adjacent bedroom, making this a perfect place for a family of 4. The upstairs open living-dining-kitchen floor offers everything you need in case you just want to spend an evening at home.

Perfect location and very nice condo

We had a great stay here. The condo has everything we needed and sits atop the bluffs. We watched the sunset every night. No complaints. A special thanks to Miriam for the orientation and guidance. We hope to return when we come back to San Diego!

Great Property

We had a great stay. The location is wonderful and the place is in good shape and well appointed for guests. The complex has nice amenities. The host is very attentive and helpful. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Great location

The condo is in a great location, and only a 5 to 6 min walk to view the great beach. Tha parking is easy and nice with a garage. It does get a little warm on the afternoons, as there is no air conditioning. They hope to get air conditioning in about 6 months.

Solana beach holiday

We had a great time in Andreas’ place, the property was great for a family of four and was perfectly situated right on the beach but still within reach of both San Diego, La Jolla and other places to visit. Excellent experience

It's a very pleasant experience to stay in this townhouse. We enjoyed everyday we stayed there. Check-in and check out were very smooth. The owner contacted in advance before the check-in day to make everything arranged and planned. We'll rent this property again for next visit to San Diego.

Beautiful Location

The home is located steps away from a beautiful stretch of the beach. The views from on top of the bluffs are breathtaking. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance or a very short drive. Miriam is amazing when you arrive and throughout your stay to make sure everything is just right. The pools, hot tubs and tennis court are all very well kept. The home is very clean and comfortable.

PERFECT!!! WE LOVED IT!

Andreas’ home is clean, the decoration is gorgeous, the beds are really confortable and the kitchen is well equipped. The rooms are large. Everything is nearby and the ocean is really some steps from the unit. We spent wonderful two weeks relaxing. Marian was absolutely great welcoming us after a long journey from home and giving all information about the place and Solana Beach area. We can say she cared about our stay and we thank her a lot because of that. I do recommend Andreas’ home. Thank you, Andreas and Marian! BOSCO AND FAMILY

Comfortable home, well stocked, and great location

This is everything we want from a home away from home. The unit has a great layout for a family, with bedrooms away from living space. The front patio is great for sandy beach stuff, to keep sand out of the house. The kitchen is very well stocked and equipped for day-to-day use. The property contact was very warm, hospitable, and flexible, and it was easy to contact her with questions. We love the location in Solana near beach with tennis, pool and jacuzzi access. Overall a wonderful place to stay!

I've called Solana Beach my home for 15 years. I'm an electrical engineer and have travelled to many places for work and pleasure, and always felt drawn back to this beautiful stretch of beach in Southern California. I enjoy an active life style, working out, cycling, roller blading and skiing. A couple of years back, I moved to Germany for some new adventures.

Why they chose this property

This home caught my eye because of its location right at the beach in a wonderfully landscaped complex that made me feel at home the moment I walked in. For many years, I've enjoyed it as my home. Since I've now moved back to Germany where I grew up, I decided to share it with travellers to let them experience this relaxing and unique setting in the beautiful coastal city of Solana Beach. I'm sure you'll enjoy it as much as I do.
