The cabin has absolute frontage to the Shoalhaven River on the South Coast of N.S.W

The dramatic sandstone escarpment is at the back door, the beautiful Shoalhaven river is at the front door.

From the sandstone courtyard of this renovated "Cream Shed" you will be able to take in the magnificent river scene with Cambewarra Mountain in the distance.
A short 15 minute drive west of Nowra, Longreach is a very comfortable drive to Jervis Bay, Berry and Kangaroo Valley.

Minimum 2 Night Booking

The cabin is a perfect getaway for couples. We have been operating for over ten years now and many couples return to the cabin because of the beauty and privacy the property offers. At 'Longreach' you can walk, fish and swim. You can relax and watch the cows and horses graze on the river flats or you can do all of that and take some time to explore the beautiful surrounds of the south coast. Kangaroo Valley, Berry and Jervis Bay are all short drives away. Reverse cycle air conditioning for your absolute comfort.

If you choose to you can really escape and socialise with nothing but kangaroos and wombats, 'Longreach' offers complete privacy.

My dog and I had such a wonderful stay – the property was everything described and even more. It exceeded our expectations in every way, from the beautiful surroundings to the comfort and attention to detail throughout.The hosts were absolutely fabulous – so warm, welcoming, and genuinely thoughtful, which made the whole experience feel extra special. And a special mention to the friendly dogs, who added such a lovely touch and made it feel like a true home away from home.It was the perfect place to unwind and recharge, and i left feeling completely relaxed after a couple of days. Absolute Haven

We can not wait to come back! This cottage was perfectly set up, all we had to do was sit back, relax and take it all in. Such a beautiful spot, it was hard to leave!

Beautiful Place

It is a wonderful place to stay for a couple and or a person with a dog. The owners are delightful and so welcoming. The place is very well kept and in a beautiful setting. It is about my 7th stay with my dog Spuddy, and won't be my last.

Great Stay in Longreach

We really enjoyed our stay in Longreach. The cottage is even better than the pictures and the grounds are beautiful. We enjoyed waking up and having coffee on the porch with the kangaroos each morning. The location is secluded but still close to area attractions. Thank you Maree for a great stay!!

Hidden gem

This is the best pet-friendly property we’ve ever stayed at and there is so much to do in the area. Maree is lovely, and the cottage has literally everything you could ask for. We also really loved the unique gardens and property. Can’t wait to come back again :)

Anniversary weekend

The perfect little spot for a weekend away, we came for our wedding anniversary and brought our dogs, we wish we had booked to stay longer. Maree and George were wonderful hosts making us feel right at home. Couldn’t have asked for a better getaway.
