Why Prairie Snowbirds Love Spending Winter in the Central Okanagan
It’s no secret that Prairie winters can be long, harsh, and relentless. Between –30°C cold snaps, biting winds, and months of indoor living, many Prairie residents dream of a gentler winter experience. But you don’t need to fly to Arizona or Mexico to find it—many Snowbirds are discovering that the Central Okanagan in British Columbia offers a perfect balance of mild weather, affordability, and convenience.
FOR BOOKING 28 DAYS OR LONGER A BC TENANCY LEASE AGREEMENT WILL NEED TO BE COMPLETED.

Absolutely loved the little creature comforts in the fridge and the view was fantastic! Very peaceful and quiet, close to cute places and restaurants. We enjoyed our time!
Truly a gem! The views are stunning as pictured, the hosts are nice and friendly, the suite is immaculately clean and unusually well-stocked. This is by far the best place I've ever stayed. Extras like a filtered water tap, comfy beach chairs to take to lake (although I did not really want to leave that deck/view), comfy throws besides plentiful bedding, etc. Just everything - wonderful!
Lovely spot, enjoyed our time and wish we had longer. Peachland is close to everything and so beautiful, the Eagles nest was a wonderful place to call home during our stay in this area.
Our second stay at the Eagles Nest was even better than the first. Wonderful comfortable and cozy with that amazing view. Everything we could need was available. We really enjoyed relaxing on the deck in the evening. We’re already look forward to our next visit.

The place had amazing views and spectacular inside. The owner was wonderful great communication. I will stay here again.
Great property close to the town of peachland with amazing views and everything we needed. The fridge stocked with enough groceries for a couple breakfasts was a wonderful surprise!
The Eagles Nest has everything you could need for a fantastic stay. We enjoyed the amazing views from the deck with a glass of wine by the fire. Peachland is a cute lakeside town with a great Sunday market and art gallery in a historic school. We can't wait to return.
This was such a cute apartment with the most gorgeous view of the lake from the deck, through the huge ponderosa pine trees. Very clean and neat, with a well appointed kitchen and even laundry. The hosts were very welcoming, and we had a lovely stay. Would love to stay here again!
My husband and I can't say enough about this gem! beautiful views on a covered deck, cozy and cute 1 bedroom suite with everything you need, the hosts are wonderful and went above and beyond with their hospitality, we will definitely return!

Nice stay in Peachland with beautiful view of lake
The property is very nice just like the pictures reflected. Host provided breakfast items in the fridge which was a nice surprise including other condiments as well.
Fully stocked kitchen with all appliances and cooking utensils. Highly recommend staying here for the spectacular view and quiet location just agree minutes drive from Peachland
An amazing cozy rental with all the amenities needed and beautiful deck with awe inspiring view of Lake Okanagan. They even provided eggs, bread, milk, orange juice, butter, jams, condiments and yogurt in addition to coffee, and all the spices and dishes/utensils you’d ever need to do your own meals.
Exceptionally well supplied with all the necessities and more. The promo photo is true ... a wonderful viewscape. Just 1 block walk to good hiking further up the ridge. Comfy, clean, couldnt ask for more than is offered here.
We often get to travel to do work for our clients and we had to go to Peachland this time. Not big on staying places but Murray was awesome with getting us settled. It was a very beautiful place with the view that was amazing. Enjoyed it very much and would definetly stay again. Cheers to them for all they provided for my son and myself

Absolutely Perfect!
My husband and I stayed at Murray's Tree House for nine days in May and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. It is exactly as portrayed in the pictures and exceptionally clean. Murray was pleasant and helpful, making suggestions for places to visit and dine. The central location in the Okanagen Valley is ideal for day trips out to other areas. We highly recommend this property and, if you were travelling with a larger group, Murray and Val have a beautiful two bedroom house adjacent to the Tree House. Peachland is a lovely small town with all the retaurants and shops Including grocery store) you could possibly need. We will for sure rent this property again when we return to the Okanagen! Thank you Murray and Val.

What makes this property unique
The property its self is very interesting with its many changes in land scape and views. There are many large Ponderosa Pines on the property. The home sits by itself and is very private. There is room for ample parking by the cedar split rail fence and there is space for short term RV and boat parking upon request. There are hiking trails just minutes away up on the next ridge. Watch for the local herd of Black Tail Deer and black bears moving up through our property from the lake to the park on the ridge above. There are many birds flitting about in the pines.
There are four suites available, the Treehouse Suite, The Blue Horizon Suite, Glamping Site and the Orchard House, each with their own private deck and entrance. The entire B&B can be rented together providing sleeping for 18 guests.
