Laurel Inn 404 is a spacious 2BR condo with private balcony close to downtown

Laurel Inn Condos is located just 4 blocks from the main street of Gatlinburg. The property has a heated outdoor seasonal pool for your enjoyment. There is also free wireless internet. You have two ways to get back to the downtown area. If you take the sidewalk down Cherokee Orchard Road, then you will come out at Traffic light #6 near the Mountain Mall and Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies. There is also a wooden stairwell that is off the back of our complex that will connect you to Reagan Drive which will bring you out near Ripley's Believe or Not Museum. This unit is a two bedroom with a King bed in the master and a queen bed in the second bedroom. It also has a queen size sofa bed in the living room. The kitchenette consists of a full size refrigerator, microwave, Coffee Maker, and a 2 burner range stove

This condo had a nice porch that we enjoyed sitting on and looking over Gatlinburg. It was very quite. The condo was very clean and updated. An easy walk to downtown by using the stairs at the back of the property.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo was great for our small family and having 2 bedrooms was very convenient. It was close to downtown so we could walk anywhere we needed to and didn't have to spend extra money on parking. The unit could use a little updating, but it still worked well for us. It would have been nice to have an actual table to sit at to eat. The high top only had 3 stools so our family of 4 couldn't all sit there together and the only other table option was the coffee table. Our kids are little so sitting on the floor worked for us, but it would have been nice to have an actual table to eat at. Other than that, the rental company was very responsive to questions, the beds were comfortable and the location was convenient. We even saw a bear in the parking lot as we were leaving one morning. The kids were very excited about that!

They had 1 chair recliner. So for 4 people it wasn’t enough for us. The beds are comfy. It needs to be painted and the vents need to be cleaned. There was no coffee for us to use but there was creamer and sugar. It just needs to be updated.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A very clean and slightly updated condo. My now wife, my two parents, and I stayed here for 3 nights, comfortably. We have stayed in plenty of cabins, hotels, and condos over the years. This place is not big, but for 2 bedrooms it is efficiently sized. Couch can fit 3 people, more like 2 in lounging, and they have a recliner. Only thing I would be cautious of is how close you want to be to the strip. They have a set of wooden stairs that take you to a back alley that is "close" to the strip, but expect about a 10 minute walk in total. This would not be a walk for someone who is uncomfortable walking or elderly mostly because you still would want to walk the strip. Not to scare you by any means because if you go on vacation you are probably expecting to walk, just depends on how much effort you are looking to put in. We loved it, but I could see others being a little perturbed. Mostly because on the way back it is all an incline and the stairs are quite a few. They do have elevators on the property once you get up the stairs
